“Giveaway at Aha!NOW? That’s music to my ears. Where did the sun rise from today?” Did you just have such thoughts?

I don’t blame you! In my three and half years of blogging, this is the first time I’m having a giveaway on my blog.

But this post is not only about giveaways, it’s about the readers and blog community on Aha!NOW – it’s ALL about you!

I don’t know how many times I’ve stated this, but I’m going to do it yet another time. This blog would not have been where it is without your love and support, and I’m so grateful for that.

What you’ve given me in all these years, I feel may be I’ve not given back enough. So, this is one of the reasons to hold a giveaway.

I’m giving away something that I get easily without making any efforts. It is something that I’m requested day in and out for, something that many readers of my blog love and vie to get.

Want to know what it is all about? Read a little further… 🙂

Before I get to it, I’d like to tell you the other purpose of this post. But first, know who this post is for:

  • All bloggers and site owners who have their own blogs
  • All writers who want to create an impressive writing portfolio
  • All readers who think they can pen their story and thoughts
  • All visitors who want more interactivity or need help
  • All advertisers, who are looking for best value for their money
  • All loyal and regular fans and followers of Aha!NOW!

Because there is something in this post for each and every one of you. 🙂

Get Started With Community Activities

In my post, after my recent blogging break – more than a month back, I wrote about starting new community features on Aha!NOW.

Some of the community members tried and tested them out. I now find them to be useful and feel like they are an extension of the posts and the comments.

This post comes after a month, as I wanted them to try all the features before officially inviting everybody. Everything seems to be working perfectly, though I know there is always scope for improvement, and we keep working to make it better still.

Therefore, this is the other purpose of this post. It’s time that you step in to start communicating with other members of the community.

Let me add more to it. I want this community to be the first place where you would want to go to discuss or ask anything. If you need help about just anything, this is it – just come and ask!

What Do You Get Out Of Participating In Community Activities

I want to give all the active community members everything that I can think of. I’ve realized that being grateful and giving is the way to live. These are some of the ways to bring happiness in your life.

I’d love to help you in any way I can. In fact, you can also suggest more ways that you can think of.

So, here we go.

Benefits of Being a Community Member and Participating in Activities

First, to be a member of this blog, you need to register yourself. You can do that by accessing either of these two locations:

Registration links for membership

One at the topmost site links above the menu bar, and the other  under the “Community” option of the menu bar.

Once you click on the “Register” link, you’re taken to this form:

Registration form at Aha!NOW for membership

Make sure that you do the following before filling up the form and submitting it.

1)      Read and accept the terms and conditions. These are very simple, and be rest assured that there is no fee going to be charged, as the general membership is absolutely FREE.

2)     Use your Gravatar email to get your profile picture. All profiles that do not have photos of the members will be deleted without warning. I’ve made this a mandatory condition so as to bring more authenticity and avoid spammers.

You can grab your free Gravatar from here.

If you’ve a blog or website, you get a link back if you fill in the URL (root domain only) below the name field. Of course, you should be the legal owner of the site that you mention; else, the link will be removed.

Once you’re registered, you can extend your profile and fill in more details about yourself. You can let other members contact you on social media by filling in your social media links.

You can even choose what you want others to see and edit the profile settings after you are registered.

To know more about the other community features on the blog, please view the community page.

Here are some of the benefits that you get being a member of the Aha!NOW blog community (ABC).

Promote Your Blog

If you’re a blogger, then this is the best opportunity for you to promote your blog post as they are published, to the other community members. Even the non-members can view these posts.

You can click on the PROMOTE YOUR BLOG banner in the sidebar or the link on the menu bar under “FORUMS”.

Write a short description about your new post and paste its link or the complete url. That’s it. Your forum topic entry will appear in the sidebar of the blog posts and pages.

Share Your Problems

Do you have ANY problems about which you want to seek help from other members of the community?

They could be personal, and if you feel you can ask them publicly – please do so, or professional like something related to your blog or blogging.

There’s no need to go anywhere else. Write you problem on SHARE YOUR PROBLEMS, accessible from the sidebar as well as the menu bar.

Other members will see your forum topic on the sidebar and respond to you. Make sure you check the box on “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” to know when somebody responds to your post.

Of course, you can make friends too by introducing yourself in a forum post.

Some other members might find your introduction interesting and would want to carry on the conversation. Remember, conversations lead to building relationships and you can make good friends like this!

As responsible members of the community, you’re required to put up decent posts, reasonable questions, and nothing that can upset any other member. If your post is reported as spam or seen as offensive, Aha!NOW has the right to remove or edit it as per the decision of the admins and moderators.

Opportunity to Guest Post

The most active members of the community get the chance to publish their guest posts on Aha!NOW.

You can see the list of active community members on the “Leaderboard” on the sidebar. You will get points for various community activities like commenting, forum posting, interacting with other members, and so on.

The complete list of the community activities that will be rewarded is available on the community page.

Recently, I had Maxwell Ivey’s guest post in the month of July with his inspirational Life Lessons From a Blind Blogger post. This was a blockbuster – Max did a great job and you can ask him how he feels about the opportunity.

Max was one of the early members of the community and a highly active one too. In the month of August, we had Yvonne I. Wilson contribute a very important post – How to Cope With Teenage Pregnancy As A Parent”.

She received the opportunity because she was the most active community member of the month, and I’m thankful to her for dealing so well with such a sensitive issue for any society in the world. I know this post is going to help many parents.

The Leaderboard will be reset or set to “ZERO” at the beginning of each month so everybody gets a fair chance to top the list every month.

Discount on Advertisements

As an active community member, you’re also entitled to avail a discount on the cost of advertising on Aha!NOW.

You can view the Advertise page and contact the Administrator through the contact form on that page.

Your ad can be displayed on Aha!NOW if there is availability of Ad space and you are eligible as per the terms and conditions of the blog.

Giveaways for the Community Members

Many companies, book publishers, e-commerce websites, and other merchants often approach me to giveaway their products or services.

Depending on the kind of offers, my first preference will be the community members of the Aha!NOW blog. Of course, if the offers can be given out in bulk, I’ll also include my blog email subscribers.

But this is not the giveaway I was talking about at the start of this post.

That special giveaway is for YOU, even if you’re not a member of the Aha!NOW blog community presently.

Guest Post Giveaway

Aha!NOW is offering its first ever giveaway, and that is the opportunity to guest post on Aha!NOW.

How much do you value a guest post on Aha!NOW?

Ask those who have done it. In fact, Enstine wrote a complete post about his experiences with guest blogging at Aha!NOW, which was titled – Guest Posting on Aha-now.com ~ Traffic and Growth Reports.

Now, I don’t guaranty that your guest post on Aha!NOW will do the same wonders as it did for Enstine, but no harm taking a chance. 😉

Moreover, this blog is now visited by people from over 169 countries, so you can imagine it’s wide range and scope or reach.

Do you know that only regular and loyal Aha!NOW blog community members can guest post on Aha!NOW?

However, I’m breaking this rule today! YOU stand a chance to get this opportunity without being a registered member and any wait periods or spending months in the waiting list.

How can you use this guest post opportunity?

  • If you are a blogger, you can promote your blog to the Aha!NOW audience and other readers, in a better way by featuring as a guest blogger.
  • If you are also a writer, you can include the link to your impressive guest post in the portfolio to show your clients.
  • If you are neither of the above, but you’ve great ideas and impressive writing skills, you can still contribute your story on Aha!NOW and feel proud and happy!

Just submit your entry in the below given Rafflecopter giveaway entry form.

Oh yes, before you can actually do that, you will need to do the following THREE simple things–

  • Follow Aha!NOW on Twitter
  • Send a Tweet
  • Like Aha!NOW on Facebook

Now, isn’t that sweet and simple! So, here’s the giveaway.

You need to first read the terms and conditions of the giveaway.

1)      You can fill up any number of entries, but you are eligible for only one guest post. So, even if your name comes up in the draw more than one times, you get to guest post only once.

2)      Two winners will be chosen who will guest post in the months of September and October, at my choice and discretion.

3)      Ineligible entries will not be considered, even if they appear in the draw. In that eventuality, the next eligible entry in the list will be rewarded.

4)      The eligibility criteria for the entry is following Aha!NOW on Twitter, liking it on Facebook, and sending a Tweet.

5)      Even if you win the giveaway, you should be able to deliver an impressive and useful guest post based on the niches of Aha!NOW, or else you will face disqualification.

6)      You need to adhere to the guest post guidelines to the “T” as mentioned in this post, else your guest post will not be accepted.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

The giveaway draw date ends on September 3, 2014. About one week from the publish date of this post, on my post on Sept 4th, 2014, the winners will be declared.

I’d like to make it clear that I’ve increased the frequency of guest posts on Aha!NOW, on popular demand.

Now on there will be two guest posts on this blog every month, as to the one earlier. For the next two months, one guest blogger will be chosen from this giveaway and one from the Leaderboard toppers for each month.

So, even if you don’t win this giveaway, you still have a chance to guest post by being one of the top active community members.

I wish you all the best and await YOU to be the next guest blogger at Aha!NOW.

A Word For The Advertisers

I want to convey the information to all readers who are either product or service providers that I’m offering advertisement spaces on rent at special and extremely low prices.

The advertising rates will be revised on October 23, 2014. So it’s your opportunity to grab the offer now and seek the best value for your money.

Please visit the Advertise page for more information along with the rates of advertisement.

The adspace allotment will be on first-cum-first basis and the prices are fixed – no bargaining. Of course, the Aha!NOW blog community members will get the additional membership discount.

Finally, I want to thank all the visitors who commented on Aha!NOW in the month of August.

Thank You Commentators!

For me, every visitor to Aha!NOW is valuable. There are people who read the posts and give it star ratings if they like them, or promote them on social media, without me asking for any promotion. So, I am really thankful to them.

However, the ones who comment on the posts need a special mention. Even though this is not the end of the month yet, but I’m honoring the commentators anyway.

Here are the Top 10 Commentators on Aha!NOW for August 2014.

Congratulations all the above commentators, and you did deserve the “dofollow” links – you earned them rightfully! I hope you know that this link is more important than a CommentLuv link.

Wasn’t this a sweet way of displaying the top commentators of the blog? Well, you too can do that.

In fact, this was made possible with a Free WordPress plugin by Enstine Muki. And, it’s called “MyCommentAuthors”.

It not only helped me display the top commentator list on my blog but also sent a “thank you” mail to all the wonderful people who commented on Aha!NOW this month!

Go try it yourself and download this plugin NOW! (It’s NOT an affiliate link!)

Lastly, check out this post on Enstine’s blog – Hint: It’s about me. 🙂

That’s all from me today. Thank you for reading, and registering yourself as a blog community member if you already did or are going to do it!

Let’s make Aha!NOW a help and information platform to bring happiness into everyone’s life. 🙂

  3. I hardly get lucky with giveaways and lucky draws.

Thank you Harleena for hosting this interview and Random.org for picking my name out of 38 participants.

I will work out a couple of titles and will get back to you.

    1. Hi Harsh,

Congratulations! I enjoyed my first raffle experience and was happy that you figured up in the random selection process. May be now you can change your perception about the giveaways and lucky draws! 🙂

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. 🙂

  5. Hi Harleena,

I know I’m late to this post but my allergies really gave me a horrible time on Friday. It didn’t help I guess that I cried all that morning because a friend of mine had to put their animal to sleep. My heart just broke for her. Anyway, my commenting got very behind so here I am. Finally!

You are really continuing to improve your blog and your new community so congratulations. Sounds like everything is going really well and I’m so thrilled for you.

I’m sure that those eager to write a guest post have all signed up and patiently waiting to hear the good news. I have a feeling you’re going to have yours lined up soon months ahead of time as well.

Love what you’re doing here Harleena and I wish you the best moving forward. Have a great week too.

    ~Adrienne

    1. Hi Adrienne,

How are you feeling now? I hope you’re much better now and I know the allergies can really make it worse for you to be yourself. Oh, it’s so sad to know about your friend’s animal. It gives me shudders to even think of it happening to my dog. I’m sorry for your friend.

It doesn’t really matter if you get late or are not able to comment on the post, because I understand that something important must have kept you from coming.

I always wanted to do something for the Aha!NOW community and then Vinay and I thought to go ahead with our plans during the blogging break we had. So far, so good. I expect small problems but we’ll eventually try to clear them and make the way for a better community experience. I’d surely like to have your views and feedback if you get the time for trying some of the new community features.

I’m happy that I had good entries for the guest post giveaway, and I’ll surely have the next few months booked.

Thank you for your good wishes and for sharing your thoughts. Do have a wonderful week ahead! 🙂

    1. Hi Phil,

I’m glad you visited and read this post. But I’m sorry that you could not enter the giveaway. However, you can always look out for another giveaway, if it happens, in the future, or try to top the community Leaderboard.

Thanks for your wishes and sharing your thoughts. Have a great rest of the week! 🙂

  8. Ohh… big changes on Aha-Now since my last comment. It’s great those interested in guest posting got this big chance. Aha-now is a real community, even without commentluv plugin there’s lots of comments on every articles. Congratulations Harleena!

    1. Hi I.C. Daniel,

I’m glad you like the changes and the guest post giveaway. Yes, Aha!NOW will always be a real community and there will be a face to each of its members. I guess when the relationships are real, you don’t need CommentLuv anymore. 🙂

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts.

  9. Hi Harleena!

I think it’s wonderful that you are going to help others by offering a guest post position. 🙂

I’ve attempted to enter. I’m not sure I did, although I followed ALL of your requirements. Do you have a way of checking to ensure I did everything properly?

    Please let me know. Thanks!

    1. Hi Lorraine,

I don’t think we have your entry, so no harm trying it again. Since the raffle is an automatic process, I’d not want your entry to be left out.

So many people approach me for a guest post on Aha!NOW and I wish I could give them all an opportunity, but if I have to select a few only, so I thought the raffle to be the best process to give a fair chance to those who are interested.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Do have a great week ahead! 🙂

      1. I tried twice. Maybe I’m having problems due to the fact that I followed you on Twitter and liked you on Facebook and Tweeted the post all separately. Gosh. Who knows?

If you have any control over this, let me know. I’d like to make sure I’m entered. 😉

        Have a good week, too.

        Lorraine

        1. Yes, you’re in! Thank you so much for entering the giveaway, and I’d be delighted to have you over as a guest blogger on Aha!NOW, if you win. 🙂

Thanks for making the efforts and wish you have a beautiful week ahead! 🙂

  10. Harleena,

I love the direction you are taking your site as well as your forum. I wish I could find more time to head over to the forum and check out all the features. I promise to in the near future.

Keep up all the good work gf! You’re still an inspiration!

  14. Hi Harleena,

I have to say that this community you created seems amazing. If there is anyone who I think will be great at building a community it’s you.

Based on your post and so many of your lovely comments I see everywhere! Really, It’s like I think I see you on every single post I read 🙂

Based on the features you created in this community, I believe it will be a hit and mainly because the focus is on your readers and building a solid community where we can come together for many different reasons.

I surely see this as a go to location for many! The special offers don’t hurt either 🙂

Congratulations on starting this quality community Harleena!

On my way to sign up now! Have a great rest of the weekend!

    1. Hi Steven,

Thank you for your kind words and for appreciating the community.

I like to visit blogs and bloggers who are friends or who are visitors of my blog, so I guess we’ve lot of common places too that we go to and probably that’s why you see me everywhere! But I love to communicate and engage and a community serves that purpose well. 🙂

I really want this to be a share and help platform and the blog promotional features are just a small part of the big benevolent plan! Yes, its not only for blogging, but we can get together for discussing other things and aspects of life too.

Thanks for sharing such beautiful thoughts and praises, and I’d really love to have you over as a community member!

Do have a great Sunday! 🙂

  15. Hi Harleena,

Thank you for inviting me to your FORUM and for registering me as a member. *joy*

By the way, I just tested on the “PROMOTE YOUR BLOG” section. After I LOGIN, I only see the “Topic Title” and “Topic Tags” windows. There is no window for URL. Is it just me? And so I don’t know how to promote my blog or where to post the URL. So I am completely lost. LOL

Now I like the ideas of “PROMOTE YOUR BLOG” and “SHARE YOUR PROBLEMS” forums and the rest of the Advertising and Guest Posting. You have so much to give away, Harleena. What fantastic ideas!!! I know that someday your blog will become bigger and better. It only has begun.

Hope you have a great weekend, dear. I will catch you later.

    xoxo
    Angela

    1. Hi Angela,

You are already subscribed to Aha!NOW because you had guest posted here. I invited you to be a part of the community officially and that is even much more than just a forum.

Thanks so much for registering yourself as a community member and I hope we’ll be able to interact and engage in a better way.

It’s good that you asked this question. Actually the “promote your blog” is a feature on the forum, and you have to write a bit about your post and paste the link of your blog post there. You can see a few other posts in that section and that will give you some idea. You’ll not see a window for URL but a big text window for writing the text.

If you still have problem in going about this feature, I’ll try another way to explain it to you. I’m planning to create a guide or manual but just can’t take out the time for that. But eventually, I will create that and I guess than things will be much easier and better. Till then, consider me as your personal guide. 🙂

I just want to blog community to have good people, and believe it or not, today I deleted many members because they didn’t have their profile pictures and were not interacting also. I want quality and the size doesn’t matter.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a great Sunday! 🙂

  16. Hi Harleena

Vow, what a wonderful converting of a blog into a blogging empire. Expansion in a business is the result of consistent quality control. Big congratulation on this.

The most interesting aspect of your blog is its being a multi niche blog but despite this a very united and active community it has.

One post you publish on tech related niche and one on social or personal development niche every week. But amazingly both the posts have commentators from multiple niche. This shows your online goodwill and people apart from value of your post equally value you as an online entrepreneur. It is quite enviable specially for me. 🙂

I keenly follow your way of writing and especially your commenting style.

I pray for your more success in your every venturing.

Convey my greetings to brother Vinay also .

    1. Hi Mi Muba,

It certainly is so good to hear but I’m not building any blogging empire, lol. I’d probably call this as an extension of the blog, and enhancement of the interaction and engagement on the blog.

I had to keep Aha!NOW as multi-niche because my readers wanted it this way, I guess they like the variety and I’d say that the community is great! So all credits to them for the success of the blog.

It does happen with time that you develop relationships and then people like you and your work and don’t really bother about the niche. For example, you come here in spite of the fact that this is not a purely blogging or money making blog.

Thank you for all the kind words and praises. I too wish you success and hope that someday you too would join the community!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and have a great week ahead! 🙂

  17. Hi Harleena

This is excellent, what great news.

I was musing just a few days ago that I wish there was some kind of community for bloggers – but for me it was just a pipe-dream.

Then today I read this from you and you’ve done it:-) A big thanks to join all the others…. and now I’m off to register!

    Have a good weekend. Joy

    1. Hi Joy,

Well there are many communities for bloggers but this is something different because it is a mix of bloggers and non-bloggers as members. In Aha!NOW blog community, the purpose and scope is beyond mere promotion of posts. The focus is on sharing and helping through enhanced interactions and engagements.

Thanks for registering yourself as a community member and I hope you are going to enjoy your time at the blog. 🙂

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great rest of the Sunday! 🙂

  18. I love the features you are presenting. Exciting times at Aha Now. I read through it decently fast so I will have to come back in two days and reread it and register to be a member. I am about to go to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I am in groomsman in and then wedding and party tomorrow so don’t have the time to really explore all your new features. I enjoy reading most of the posts on your site and find them very helpful.

I think you are doing a wonderful service by increasing the guest posts frequency while also helping out your own site. I think it will be beneficial for everybody involved. I have only guest posted once and I am suppose to write one for this other site, but it is difficult for me for some reason. I’ll try to make that a goal for September to get that guest post out and also to submit to your raffle : D.

    1. Hi Sebastian,

I’m glad that you like the features of the community. Yes, I’m really feeling happy and excited about this new development. I’d love you to visit again and register yourself as a community member. I hope you had a great time in the wedding.

I always wanted to have more guest posts and I guess this was the right time to increase it. Not only it offers a new voice, new thoughts, it might also give me time to answer so many of the pending comments that I have in the previous posts. 😉

I’m sure you’ll get used to writing guest posts once you get to it. It’s will be great to have your entry in the raffle.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great Sunday! 🙂

      1. The wedding was fantastic. I love to dance and it was fun being a groomsman. I wasn’t able to sign up for the raffle because I don’t have a personal facebook page.

I registed to be a member.

It should be noted that the link to one’s blog from our profile is not dofollow. It is nofollow, at least according to my tools to track such things. Just an fyi : D.

I think you are right, it will be easier once I get use to doing it. Have a good one.

  19. Hello Harleena madam,

Congrats on the first giveaway on Aha!Now and I really love the fact that this giveaway will surely excite many of us since everyone was looking for a opportunity to post on Aha-Now.

I remember when I visited your site for the first time I had read somewhere which read “Do not ask me for guest post I am not in a mood for it” though wordings might differ.

And that had increased my urge to write a guest post on Aha!Now and see the time has come.

Thank you for mentioning my name within the post, its quite a good feel. 🙂

    1. Hi Swadhin,

Thank you for your wishes and I’m really excited about this first giveaway on Aha!NOW.

Yes, I still have that restriction that I mentioned in this post too that only the community members get to guest post on Aha!NOW. Now too, the guest blogger has to first register before getting to guest post, even if they win it from this giveaway.

Thanks again for contributing your comments and sharing your thoughts. Enjoy your Sunday! 🙂

      1. most welcome madam, And I would like to congratulate the winners on the lucrative prize which they rightfully deserve. 🙂

  20. Hi Harleena

Seems like I am still in time for the party 🙂 🙂

I am so happy to be a part of this robust, diverse and dynamic community! Aha!NOW is a phenomenon! It is growing and I am just so excited to be a part of this movement. From day one when I got on board (earlier this year) I felt it in my spirit that I was at the right place and my purpose in life was somehow connected. I have not been disappointed one day. And I am not just using words to make you feel good 🙂 I am speaking the truth in love and hope that you as the person, what you stand for and represent here on your blog will remain and continue to get better because it just seems like a ‘safe’ environment to give birth to your dreams.

I am deeply honored for the mention here and for the opportunity to write for your blog and your wonderful community of readers. I am empowered to pursue with vigor and grace to produce additional work in the future that will hopefully get published on Aha!NOW again. 🙂

Meanwhile though, I am delighted that you have given the opportunity to promote my blog in the community.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful plugin by Enstine. I would not be able to benefit from it until I address some issues with my blog as far as what plugins I can use. With wordpress.com it is very limited.

Well, what more can I say? You are the “Mother of blogging” yes, yes and yes! 🙂 Much love and blessings! Have a great weekend!

    Yvonne

    1. Hi Yvonne,

Oh yes, the party is still on! And I guess it will go on for a couple of days more, and then we have a grand gala closing ceremony, lol! 🙂

Wow, you really defined the community in strong words, I’m glad you feel it that way. I’d say its a combined effort and in fact, we all are growing together. We do certainly have so many common things, like the kind of blogs, the topics we write, and I really appreciate your blog. I also appreciate and am honored by your kind words about my blog and myself.

Your guest post was really great because I like this blog to be a bit different and want to address the social issues, causes, and problems through thought provoking posts, and yours fitted the bill perfectly.

Why not, and definitely! You’ll guest post again on Aha!NOW after sometime and it will be an honor to have a great post from you again. I think you should promote every post of your blog on the community forums because each one of them is precious and useful.

I understand that you may not be able to use Enstine’s plugin. Aww.. how sweet and I love that, but its blogging who has given birth to me as a blogger.. so blogging is my mother, lol! Anyways, I really appreciate and honor your thoughts and feelings. 🙂

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great Sunday!

  21. Hi Harleena,
    landed here from Klinkk.

I am glad Aha-Now is growing so quickly.
This is thanks most of all to your good online networking and your fantastic writing.

I love the idea of building a community around your blog.
I am sure it will keep increasing fast, as there is already a huge number of fans here.

I’ve tried to register, but I got this error:
“Sorry, this username is invalid. Please choose another.”

I’ve entered different combination of characters.
Can you please tell me the form to get the username accepted?

    I really appreciate your help.
    Talk to you soon!
And have a great day, Harleena! 🙂

    1. Hi Erik,

First, I’m sorry I got a bit late in answering to your comment. Things got a bit busy and some initial hick ups and teething problems but now the community is running well, so far. 🙂

Ah.. I wouldn’t say this blog is growing rapidly because it been over 3 years, and that’s a long and high time in blogging, isn’t it? Aha!NOW took time because it was never one of those blogging, tech, or marketing blogs. But now it has a bit of everything.

I hope people now really see the importance of creating good content and develop good relationships, they do matter a lot. Having a community does help a blog.

Now, I’m sorry that you got an error, but you’re the only one who got this type of error. I’m sure you’re using the right username because I do have a plugin that restricts the user names that it finds not right (obscene, to be honest)! If you do let me know your desired username, I can probably check it up and register that from my end, if that can’t be done from yours.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Enjoy your Sunday! 🙂

  22. Hi Harleena,

It is really something great you have started, a community to ask and share problems will benefit many. You have covered all, bloggers, non-bloggers, advertisers and fans.

I have seen many blogs opening forum community page and it always rocks, and I am sure yours will fly high too.

    Keep rocking, be blessed!

    1. Hi Rohan,

I’m glad you like the concept of the community. Yes, its for all and a community really rocks.

Thanks for your best wishes and I reciprocate the same.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great Sunday! 🙂

  23. Just joined the give away. I don’t have any experience of any such events in my past. Hope this time I will.

    1. Hi Vishal and welcome to Aha!NOW,

Thanks for filling up your entry for the giveaway. Wish you all the best for that.

Thanks for registering yourself as a community member too. I hope you’ll enjoy and have a great time.

      Have a great Sunday! 🙂

  24. Hi Harleena,

I am so glad that you have put forward a completely new idea of ‘giveaway’ at Aha-now!! I appreciate this. I have made my entry. My only hope is that if selected, I should be able to come up to the standard of lengthy posts that you put up!

I already consider myself to be the member of your community, if you think registration would make me more of a part of Aha-now, I have to go through all the terms and conditions before I do that.

Thanks for making a mention of top commentators, it’s an honor though I never comment with any such thoughts in mind. I have always been very vociferous about my views and that urge make me express them. Thanks for being such an innovator! You are amazing! Have a nice day and a restful of the weekend.

    1. Hi Balroop,

I’m glad you like the idea of this giveaway. Thanks so much for entering this giveaway because I’d really want you to guest post! Oh, don’t worry about the length of the post, I’ll make you write it, lol! 😉

You’re indeed a member of the community, but by registering yourself, you get access to the other features that enhance the interaction and engagement. Though, every guest blogger needs to register, so if you win the giveaway, in anycase you’ll have to register yourself!

I know you don’t comment for the sake of commenting, and your comments are really a great contribution to the posts and the discussions.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your wonderful thoughts. Have a great rest of the Sunday! 🙂

  25. Hey Harleena,

    You made me happy.:)

You know when someone appreciate me I feel like flying.;)

I am glad to receive your e-mail for commenting at your blog. Like it’s my hobby to be around you from my starting days. I love to visit.

You have used the plugin developed by Enstine. It’s really great to see that many people get mentioned at your blog due to their comments.

Such a detailed description about your community. It’s beneficial for many people. I am going to register now.

    Thanks for this amazing post.:)

    Have a great week ahead.:)

    ~Ravi

    1. Hi Ravi,

Thank you again for contributing to Aha!NOW as a commentator and now for registering as a community member too.

Yes, Enstine’s plugin worked well. I’m sure you’ll like the community, its features and activities. Have a great time!

Thanks for visiting and sharing your wonderful thoughts. 🙂

  26. Hi Harleena!!

First of all…I’m SUPER excited for you and your new community feature. This is huge, and I’m so glad that you’re reaching your goals and dreams. I love that you’re actively building a “home” on your blog.

This is one of my goals for the future. I’m not exactly sure how that will look — but I know I want my blog to be both a resource and a community.

I’ve entered the contest, too! My fingers and toes are crossed. Whoop whoop!

    Hope you’re doing well.

    1. Hi Jennifer,

Thank you so much for your kind wishes..yes, I’m inching towards my goal of happiness and every step is just wonderful. You’ve used the right term – it’s a “home” that I want to build, where you feel safe, secure, relaxed, and where you can be yourself. 🙂

You’ll get there I know, and it’s a great thought you’ve to make your blog an amalgam of resource and community.

I’m so glad you entered the giveaway and I wish you all the best! It’s really getting exciting and I too am curious to know the results!

Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts. I’m doing well and I wish you’ve a great time this weekend. 🙂

  27. I’m on it Harleena,

Getting myself registered and you know what is the best part?
I love interacting with people, helping people, sharing my thoughts with them.
When I started CallingDreams, my main focus was only and to only help people and inspiring them, bringing some change in them with my writings.

As I’m doing all these things through my blog already, but I’m glad now that I’ll be able to do the same on the community of aha-now too.

And One thing more, I’m preparing the guest post for your blog since last month, I want it to be a master piece and I’m gonna be tough competition to others aw well 🙂 so watch out for me 😀

    1. Hi Vishnu,

Thanks for registering yourself as a community member, and I just love your philosophy of life and seems it will be fun interacting and engaging on a new level!

It’s great to know your beautiful thougths and why you started your blog. I’m sure we all will get to know more about it with time.

That’s so wonderful and kind of you to be so giving and caring for the Aha!NOW community and having that desire to help others. Awesome!

Aha.. you’re already working on your guest post! Now that is what I call the spirit of being positive. You know you’ve got an edge over the competition because you’re now a registered community member too and you can have a way through the Leaderboard too! In any case, I’d love to read your post. 🙂

Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead!

  28. Hi Harleena; So glad to hear that the community is growing and the guest posting is going so well that you will be adding an extra post each month. I was blessed to get the first one for being active in the community. The post was very good thanks to your help. and the response was amazing even humbling. and you know I’m not a guy with a big ego to start with. the comments gave me a warm feeling deep inside. you are one of the most prolific people I know when it comes to sharing and promoting your friend’s work.

Obviously i won’t be entering the contest, but I encourage everyone else to do so. even if you aren’t sure about writing a guest post I am sure that harleena can help prove you wrong. she is a talented editor and good with ideas. and her blogs get read. a lot of sites that allow guest posts don’t get the traffic she does. and not everyone will work as hard to promote the work of their guests like she does. this is like the perfect opportunity. I’m looking forward to reading the posts of some new voices in the blogging world. thanks harleena. you are doing a great thing here. and thanks to the rest of our community. Let me know if I can do anything to help. take care, max

    1. Hi Max,

Yes, you were the first most active community member of Aha!NOW and I’m so grateful for that. You certainly helped me test various community features. In fact, you’re still on the top of the Leaderboard, though it’s going to change at the beginning of the next month, and will become a level playground for all.

It’s really a good feeling to see so many new people coming in and I hope they like this place and decide to stay put here and make good contribution to the community. I had the plans to increase the guest post frequency for a long time, and I guess this was just the right time for it.

I just hope that the future Leaderboard toppers write their guest posts as good as you did; the entire credit goes to you because you believed and you worked hard on it. One thing I do agree with is that you’re so honest and straightforward and that’s what make you so special.

Thank you for writing words full of praise about my blog and myself, and I’d credit all the success to my community that has always encouraged and supported me to bring the blog to this level. Thanks for the word of recommendation and that really paints a beautiful picture.

Thanks for being there and I know I can always count on you. I’m also excited to meet the new guest bloggers and read their amazing posts.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your wonderful thoughts, Max. Do have a great time and weekend ahead! 🙂

      1. hey harleena; well as you said they always get the truth from max so it was easy to say all those nice things about you, aha now, and the community. its like i tell people who ask about listing their equipment on my other site the midway marketplace. If they don’t see your ride they can’t want it. and if they can’t want it they won’t buy it. My post was solid, but it was you and your community that got it read. I had the attraction but you put the buts in the seats or the faces in front of the screens. 🙂

It takes both to have a sold out show. and we rocked the heck out of the first most active commenter guest post. but it really needs a catchy name. I will have to work on that. It also needs a logo and a badge so its easier for the winners to brag about it and send their readers to it. I have a page on my sites that is called as seen online. but not everyone does. Lorraine, my sometimes editor, says that when i get permission from the rest of the site owners where I have appeared she is going to re do that page with their logos and greatly improve the text. I think that will happen sometime next month. by the way I am being interviewed on sunday. so hoping to have an announce date for that podcast soon. and if anyone else wants me to do something for their blog or podcast, just ask. I’m open to guest posts, interviews, collaberations, etc. and if you can’t tell from her comment just ask harleena about what kind of guest I am. I wrote a post last year about ways a guest can show their appreciation and most of it was about ways to help promote. I won’t go into a lot of detail, but let’s just say I believe that I have to work harder for a guest shot than I do for posts on my own site. thanks again harleena. it was an honor and a pleasure to guest. Maybe you can do one for me someday. 😉 take care now, Max

        1. Max, they say the right thing; you say only the truth. I really appreciate all your kinds words with all my heart.

Good idea about a catchy name and logo or badge.. yes, I had that in mind actually and mentioned it too in my first post after my summer break but then got lost in other things… I think it’s time to give the blog’s most active member also a badge. Let me tell Vinay and we’ll work on it. Thanks for this sweet reminder.

All the best for your interview and podcast, eagerly looking forward to it. 🙂 You did promote your guest post more than your predecessors at Aha!NOW and I’m really grateful for that. That’s why I said you were the perfect guest blogger because you also answered all your guest post’s comments, not that others don’t do, but you were very prompt.

Oh, why not, I’d love to be on your blog too, but I think it will take some time to get the things in order in my own place, and then I’ll come to you and ask for one!

Thanks and have a great Sunday! 🙂

          1. Hi Harleena; well the post you wrote on your return seems like a lifetime ago. 🙂 I just finished the interview with alvaro avarito of the low vision bureau podcast. He said I did well. He also said you are just good at this. he also commented on my honesty and sincerity. the podcast will be live next sunday. I will post the link as soon as he sends it to me. I look forward to having you on my blog whenever you feel like it. You are a cherished friend. Thanks again and have a good sunday, max

  29. Harleena, you’re doing a fabulous job with your blog. You’ve come a long way and I’m so happy for you. The changes you’ve made have been awesome and inspiring.

Thanks for the invite to join the community. I’ll definitely be registering. I’ll also be entering the giveaway for a chance to write a guest post on your blog. 🙂

Have a great weekend Harleena. 🙂

    1. Hi June,

It’s great to see you here and thank you for registering yourself as a community member.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words and I’m glad you’re loving the changes on the blog. Ah, you entered the giveaway – you know that I will love to have you over if you win!

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. You too enjoy your weekend ahead! 🙂

  30. Hi Harleena,

I also just entered to win. I am a huge fan of yours and I love the idea of being able to stay connected with you here. I also love the plugin and I thank you for sharing it. When I received your email earlier today I wondered how you sent that email out. Very nice~

    1. Hi Nathaniel,

It’s so great to know that you too have entered in the giveaway. I wish you all the best!

I too love your contributions on Aha!NOW and I agree that it will be fun with more engagements. Yes, it’s a great plugin by Enstine and I too loved its email feature.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

      1. Hi Harleena,

Thanks. One more question – I downloaded the plugin and installed it. Do I need to go in at the end of the month and use the email feature or does it automatically email the commentors? Thanks 🙂

        1. Nathaniel, the best person to answer this question will be the plugin author, Enstine. But as far as I know, the commentators are not automatically sent the email. You have to choose the month and the type of list you want to create (table/html) and then process it. Once you create the HTML list, you get a button besides it that you need to press in order to mail it. I hope this helps. 🙂

          1. That’s quite correct Vinay. You have to decide when to send the mail. As a matter of fact, you also provide the content.

Thanks for responding to Nathaniel and do have a beautiful weekend 😉

  31. I love being in the same tribe as you and sharing your posts. You are dynamite at sharing as well and I think you are doing a great job at creating an awesome forum.

    1. Hi Heather and welcome to Aha!NOW,

It’s so good to see you here. Thanks for registering yourself as a community member and it will be great to take our relationship beyond sharing of posts.

Thank you for your kind and praising words, that really encourage me to put in my best. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and wish you a great weekend ahead! 🙂

  32. Hello Harleena,
This is one of the most biggest giveaways ever, why? Because you added so much to give out to your faithful readers.

I created my forum on January (BUT NOT FULLY LAUNCHED YET). Up till now, i am trying to add some features that will benefit my community. and before time runs out, it will definitely be out as well.

I have checked out your forum and i’d say that it’s lovely, but i haven’t register though due to time measurement. But i am sure that i will definitely register as the day progress.

Did my name came out as one of your top commentator of the month? Thank you so much for showing me love… 🙂

Thanks and do have a wonderful week ahead/…

    1. Hi Babanature,

I’m so happy that you like this giveaway. I really did all that I could think of to giveaway and help the readers of my blog.

I remember you did report in the Alexa post about how the forum on your blog helped you. I’m sure when its in full operational mode, it will do great wonders for you.

I’m glad you like the forum on my blog. You are more than welcome to register and officially be a part of the community, not that you’re not, because you’ve also been a guest blogger here!

I really appreciate your visits and contributions to the posts and I had to thank you for that.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. You too have a great week ahead! 🙂

  33. Harleena,

Kudos to you for expanding AhaNOW! As you know, building and growing a community takes effort and time. 🙂 I admire what you’ve done and have learned so much.

I like the idea of the comment plugin and will check it out. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

    1. Hi Amandah,

You’re right, it’s not easy to build and grow a community. I’m trying whatever I know and I can, and it would be a win-win for everybody if this works out.

Enstine’s plugin is good and I’m sure that will be handy for you to reward your blog’s commentators.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

  34. Dear Harleena,

Thank you so much for the invite. It is wonderful to read each and every post. Some so touching that it makes one cry, then comes an inspirational post which makes you take action, the informative posts which make you wonder, personal stories which let you look into someone else’s life and feel their pain and happiness.

I eagerly wait for each post and read them. I have never left many comments just because I need to logon to make a comment on the comment. Reading requires just the mobile. I am due for surgery next week and am so looking forward to a pain free me.

I want to be more active here and will be back soon. Keep sharing those lovely articles, I cannot tell you how helpful each one is.

    1. Hi Latha,

It really feels great to know that the posts on Aha!NOW have such an impact and that you love them so much. Thank you for being such a wonderful reader and follower of my blog.

I understand and that is probably what most readers do. They read the posts and do not comment. It’s actually a very small percentage like about 1-2% readers who comment and that’s all okay. My main aim is to help people, and their visiting the blog to read the posts is itself an honor for me.

I wish you a successful surgery and I’m sure that you’ll feel much better after it’s done. I’d look forward to having you back on my blog!

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

  35. Hi Harleena!

You are doing some amazing things here at Aha!Now, I am so excited for you! I just know the forum is going to be packed full with great advice! I can’t wait to see it in action!

I installed Enstine’s plugin earlier today. I think it’s a great way of recognizing those who take time to comment. Thanks so much for recognizing me a one of your top commenters. It’s my pleasure :).

Wishing you much success Harleena! Hope you’re having a great week!

    1. Hi Corina,

Thank you and I’m glad that you like the new things on Aha!NOW.

The fact is that forums are not always successful, but when it gets going then there’s no stopping. So, I’m trying my bit for it to work, and hopefully it will be as you mentioned here.

Enstine’s plugin is indeed very helpful and you can see the result in this post, and probably you got a mail from my blog too. You’re a valued reader and contributor to Aha!NOW and I’m honored by your presence, so it’s my pleasure in fact. 😉

Thanks for your wishes and for sharing your thoughts. You to have a great week ahead! 🙂

  36. Hey Harleena,

There are so many good things happening here on aha!now. You both are making it the blogger’s place to me.

I have missed a lot recently because of my numerous projects.

You are beginning to solve a very big problem bloggers have – that of promotion. This is one of the features that will certainly add a lot more value to any amount of time spent on this blog.

I was honored to be the first guest author on this blog earlier on this year. The results were such that I had to write a report post on my blog. Not only did I gain exposure, I had more friends and business. Yes, posting here is worth the competition.

Now, I got a thank you mail from you and thanks for sharing the link to the comment plugin. Vinay has been so helpful in proposing awesome ideas to make the plugin what it is.

One more thing … thanks for being my blogger of the week. I invite your readers to check out that post. A lot of things about you and aha!now that have been exclusively revealed 😉

You both, have a wonderful week

    1. Hi Enstine,

I’m glad you are liking what’s been happening on Aha!NOW. Actually, we want the blog to be THE place for both the bloggers and non-bloggers alike. Aha!NOW has lots for the non-bloggers as its a life blog, but we don’t want to leave the bloggers behind, as blogging is my first love!

I understand that your new projects kept you from visiting and commenting on posts here but what I’d want is success in what ever you are doing. I believe real relationships and friendships do not depend on mutual visits, but more on mutual understanding.

Promotion is what bloggers look for, and you need to give what’s in demand. Nevertheless, it does me no harm providing this feature as far as people don’t abuse it. It’s a mutual give and take, I help them and they help me! I’m also sure that people will greatly like the promotion feature that you are developing for bloggers, that is really amplified promotion!

Yes, you definitely started the year on a high note for Aha!NOW and I’m glad the guest post here helped you a lot and contributed to reach a place where you are now.

Thanks for the free plugin for enlisting the blog’s commentators, it’s been helpful and I hope others too will use it. I’m glad Vinay was able to help you in some way.

I feel honored to be featured on your blog, and I have that post link on this post as well now!

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. You too have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

  37. Hi Harleena,

Thank you for the mention and congratulations on all the growth and these new launches! I remember your last post about the “COMMUNITY” feature when you launched for the first time.

Your guest posting giveaway seems very interesting and I see a lot of people are already taking interest. Let me make an entry as well and who knows, I might have to put my seat belt on and put together a good post for readers here 🙂

    Cheers!
    Kumar

    1. Hi Kumar,

Thanks for being a contributor at Aha!NOW, your comments are valuable and I love them!

I didn’t launch anything new except the giveaway this time, but I’m trying to improve and promote the existing features on Aha!NOW, and I’m sure that will help everybody.

I believe this is the best way to give back and guest posts will be more useful to my blog readers. I’d be honored with your entry and Aha!NOW readers would love to read your guest post.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead as well! 🙂

  38. Hi Harleena,

I loved to hear that your blog is growing up to be more of an engaged community and I see that you are putting full effort.

Besides, you are also allowing members of the community to promote their posts is an icing on the cake because nowadays almost everyone wants promotion of their posts but many fear of spam too. So, keep an eye on that. Some just promote for self-promotion without adding value.

And thanks for sharing the great plugin from Enstine, I just checked that out and very useful for bloggers.

I will be on your community list in the next week. Till then, have a GREAT day! 🙂

    Mainak.

    1. Hi Mainak,

Nice to have you back! Engagement and interaction have always been a special feature of Aha!NOW, and now I want to take it a step further.

It’s all about helping others, if I can provide a platform or option for bloggers to promote their posts and blogs, then why not? Thanks for warning me about spam and that’s very true. I know I’ll have to be very careful and vigilant.

Enstine’s plugin was really useful and you can see it for yourself. I’d recommend that you too try it out.

I look forward to registering yourself as a community member! That would be wonderful.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend ahead! 🙂
