Well, did I say café? That does not mean this post is just for the coffee lovers!

Café basically means a coffeehouse. However, nowadays it is also meant to be a restaurant or a place you get other kinds of beverages too, including tea.

That itself shows the popularity of coffee. But overall, there are more tea drinkers, globally.

However, do you like to drink coffee or tea?

Do you think there are more people who drink coffee than tea?

Do you believe that coffee has more benefits as compared to tea?

Regardless to mention, coffee is infamous for its caffeine content. It has its good effects too, but anything in extremes is not good.

This post is only to give you information and seek your views. Thus, I have an infographic for you that explains it all.

Health Benefits Of Coffee And Tea

Well, I am sure by now you’ve formed your opinion. Both coffee and tea have their benefits and side effects too.

If you are an American, you are most likely to vouch for coffee. However, if you are an Indian, it is more probably that you are a tea drinker.

It depends on your cultural background and religious traditions too.

The Chinese and Japanese have their tea ceremonies and rituals. They prefer herbal tea more than anything else.

The Arabians, who are also credited to start the coffee culture, drink more black tea than green tea or white tea.

Speaking of myself, I love my hot cup of tea in the morning and evening.

That is just two cups a day, and I do not go beyond that usually. I might drink coffee or green tea if a third beverage is required!

I know many of my blogging friend’s prefer tea too, am I right? 🙂

Which Is More Healthy – Tea or Coffee

One thing is for sure that too much of caffeine is not good for health.

From the infographic, you can make out the caffeine levels in coffee and tea. You also see that tea has more benefits than coffee.

However, it is white or green tea, and not black tea that is more beneficial.

Whatever be your choice, I think you need to take into account these two factors:

By the way, you can drink more cups of tea than coffee and still stay within the moderation limit.

Nevertheless, I am ALL in for tea!

It is also called ‘Chai’ our end, and in winters, with a dash of ginger, it adds more flavor to the tea. Besides, ginger has its additional health benefits and keeps you warm in the cold months too.

So, what about you? Coming over for a cup of tea or coffee! You are ALL invited. 🙂
