It’s 2016, and I’m excited to be here again on Aha!NOW as an author.

On the 17th of January 2014, I had an exciting invitation from Harleena and submitted an article on My Killer Way to Make Money online.

Same year on December 15th, I had this chat where I spoke a little more about my family and me.

Today, I’m here with something again I know will help bloggers add a little more value to their blogs, and see more results.

It’s amazing how our blogs give us different ways to make money. Once you have built an active community around your blog, you can always monetize anytime.

Some of these ways to make money are quite obvious. However, to be able to exploit others, you have to put on your thinking cap and be smart.

In today’s post, we want to discuss some little-known pages on your blogs that can help increase your earnings.

It’s important to note that not everyone who visits your blog gets to see all the pages or blog posts that are published. However, some pages are very attractive, and some considerable attention must be given them.

5 Ways to Monetize or Use Your Blog Pages

Before we get to identify these powerful but almost not known pages, let’s throw some light on how to monetize or use them;

1. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is by far the most exciting way to monetize your blog, especially if you do not want to deal with the ups and downs of creating a product.

It’s simply the process of promoting others’ products and getting paid a fraction of the sales.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, or you are just not seeing expected results, I recommend grabbing a copy of my product Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers.

In this ebook, I share my exact method how I have empowered my blog with money making power.

I also brought out how cleverly some bloggers are generating real income from their blogs with Affiliate Marketing, by doing things most of us don’t know.

Now, note that we are still to uncover the hidden pages below. But how do you monetize them with Affiliate Marketing?

Simple!

a) Know your audience

Knowing your audience is the first step towards succeeding with Affiliate Marketing. Your readers won’t just hit the order button. They buy what’s interesting to them.

Once you know your audience and know the problems they have, you can always propose them solutions on your pages.

b) Propose the right product

Most of us do poorly or completely fail in Affiliate Marketing because we make the wrong choices of the products to promote on our blogs. Here are some reasons why we chose the wrong products;

Once you are promoting the wrong product for any reason, be very sure to generate little or no sales. So it’s important to do a lot of research to ascertain we’ve found the right product before any promotion move is done.

2. Sell Your Own Products/Services

If you are product creator, you’ll agree with me that selling it on your blog can be very exciting.

The reason is that you can set the price, cut special offers or even offer free copies to keep your community moving. And of course, you keep 100% of the profit.

The same holds true for services. For those of you who do freelance writing, programming, designs, WordPress & blogging service, etc., it will be a huge point to mention these on the pages we discuss below.

If you have a profile on some micro job sites like Fiverr, SEOClerks, etc., another step forward will be to describe your services on these pages and link back to them.

3. Sell PLR Products

Some folks think selling PLR products is old-fashioned. That’s absolutely wrong. There are lots of highly valuable PRL products out there you can propose to your readers on these pages discussed below.

All you should do is locate these targeted products and repackage them. If you have three or four exceptionally good PLR products, why not create a page on your blog purposely for these products. By doing this, you can always drive traffic to it and make more sales.

4. Capture Lead

One of the top objectives, we as bloggers have, is getting out readers to sign up to our lists. Once you’ve had them on your list, you can always turn them into targeted traffic and buyers.

Placing lead capture forms on your hidden pages is not selling directly to visitors. However, I personally think it’s the best way to connect and keep a relationship with your readers.

One thing I’m sure is that there are some key pages on your blog you’d always want to keep alive. You can always link to such pages from your hidden pages. This will always keep them active with traffic from other pages on your blog.

3 Little-Known Blog Pages to Make Money From

Now, let’s take a look at these three pages and monetize and use them as I proposed above;

1. Resource/Tools Page

This is simply a page that lists the tools you are using on your blog.

Don’t even tell me you don’t have any tools because your blog, at least, runs on a premium theme or is hosted on a paid server.

These are some of the tools you can already mention on your tools page and link to them on your affiliate link.

The reason is that human beings are programmed to copy things that work for others.

If you tell your readers the SEO or Social media tools that you use, the chances are that most of them would want to get the same tools, and if you link to them on your affiliate links, you stand another chance to make the next commission.

So, do you have a tools or resource page on your blog? If not, why not create it now and let us know the tools you use that work for you?

If you’ve hosted your blog for the past 5 years successfully without any downtime or major breakdown, why not tell us about your host and make some money through Affiliate Marketing?

2. New Comer Page

The New Comer or Welcome Page is different from your tools page. It’s also very different from your home page. Most blogs, unfortunately, don’t have this page.

It’s a strategic page that targets new readers. It’s intended to give them guidelines how to find what on your blog.

This page is also suitable to invite your newcomers to your list, as you explain to them what to expect from you.

You can also use this page to invite new comments to important content on your blog, or even recommend some products that work great for you.

3. First Comment Page

This is one of the most neglected pages on most blogs and sometimes, I’m ashamed to think that I have not even made proper use of this page on my main blog.

A few hours ago, I had a look at my Jetpack stats and found out a huge number of new visitors get to this page. Simply, you can set up your blog to show this page to anyone that drops a comment on your blog for the first time.

I set up JetPack on my blog almost mid of 2015 and by Jan 2016, it recorded almost 2k visitors redirected to my First Comment Page.

What you may want to do now is carefully craft this page to show your new visitors some exciting offers. While some bloggers use email capture forms, you can always test out to see what works for you.

How Do You Set the First Comment Page

If you are on WordPress, that would be an easy question to answer. You simply should install a plugin like this one or if you are using CommentLuv Premium, just check to activate the feature.

Before you even go ahead to install and activate any plugin, be sure to create a page (not a post) first and give it details of what you want to show your first timers.

These pages may look simple and negligible, but if you set them up and monitor your results, you may be pleasantly surprised how many sales and leads they can generate.

Over to you –
