You might think that you would love your life if you had a better job, a better home, or if you are in a better financial position.

Some of you might think that you would love the life you live if you have a different life partner or a better family with children who listen to you.

Or do you wait for something magical to happen to start loving the life you are living?

Some might even hate life and say what’s there to love in it. But isn’t the fact that you are alive itself a beautiful feeling?

So, as long as you are living, you can find ways to be happy and appreciate the life you are living. Remember, where there is a will there is always a way.

There can be so many more reasons for not loving the life you lead. Do let me know more in the comments below.

However, there are ways that you can make your life better and start loving it.

10 Ways to Love The Life You Live

Though there are no rules to start loving the life you really want to live, but here are a few ways to get started.

1- Keep things simple

Oftentimes you might tend to complicate your life, whereas you can have simpler and better options. It’s better sometimes to relax and take things easy.

Breathe deep and learn to let go of things that aren’t in your control. You will soon realize how easy it was once you do it.

2- Have achievable goals

You can love the life you live with ease once you learn how to set goals that you can easily accomplish. Don’t aim too high, instead, choose smaller goals and try to achieve them one by one.

Once you accomplish them you will feel as if you have got an aim in life. Learn to give yourself a pat on the back even for these small achievements.

You will get a feeling of achievement and your purpose in life would thus bring you more happiness.

3- Value relationships

Whether it is friendship or a relationship with a family member or a loved one – learn to treasure them. You need to spend time with your family, friends, and loved ones.

Misunderstandings take place in each relationship, but you need to deal with them in a proper way.

These very relationships that you nurture would be some things that you can look back in pride and feel were a worthwhile investment.

Remember, there can be nothing valuable than keeping your relationships with people you care for.

4- Remain grateful

Never forget to be grateful, even for the smallest of things.

It could be things like the food you have on your table, the faces of your children you see each morning, or the simple fact that you are alive today!

You will love the life you live once you begin by being grateful for everything that comes your way. The good, and even the bad always teaches you something in return – so be grateful always.

5- Accept life and change

There are two types of changes and people react in different ways to them. While some people love change and are ready to adapt themselves to it, there are others who don’t like change.

But if you learn to accept and adapt to life by embracing change, whether it’s big or even something small, you will begin to love the life you live.

Speaking of myself, I wasn’t a person who liked changes. But with time, I have adjusted to my surrounding and changed myself by beginning to live in the moment.

6- Balance things out

Like me, I’m sure some of you might be finding it tough to strike a balance between your work and family, or other things that also need your attention.

You need to live in the present – the NOW, and learn to balance things out. Once you do this, you learn to love the life you live without having any kind of regrets.

I try to keep things systematic so that when I work, I do nothing else but work. But when I am with my kids and family, or when I am cooking and doing other chores, I don’t touch work.

7- Live every moment

Just as I say so often, live life to the fullest by living every moment. Don’t waste a single second in doing things that you might regret later.

There’s no time to be bored, lonely, and sad. Life is so short and we never know about tomorrow, so rejoice and remain happy. Love the life you live by making it a memorable one.

8- Plan ahead

You will be happier if you are able to plan things ahead so that you can achieve your goals. Keep aside money for a rainy day or save a little, which will give you a secure and happier feeling.

Take care of yourself and remain healthy.

9- Be yourself

Be yourself to love the life you live, because you live only once, so love the life you live by doing things YOU want. Do what you want to do and be who you want to be. This will make you peaceful within.

Yes, this is easier said than done because we have our family, kids, spouses, and so many other things on our mind. And we tend to think about them before thinking about ourselves.

However, even with everyone around and your never ending tasks, you need to take out time for yourself and learn to love who you are.

10- Enjoy the little things

You need to think ways to make yourself happy in this stressful life we all lead. Life IS complicated because we make it so.

However, you need to love the life you are living by enjoying the smallest of things. It could be things like the chirping of birds, watching your kid’s the first thing in the morning, embracing nature, or just about anything.

If for whatever reasons you find that you aren’t happy with the way things are – then change them. If you can’t change things or people, try to change yourself and adapt to the situation.

“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist or accept the responsibility for changing them.” ~ Denis Waitley.

Remember, living the life you love isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about enjoying the journey, about trusting yourself, and tapping your potential.

Once you love the life you live, you will feel like a different person from within. Such a person is more positive, optimistic, and enthusiastic about life.

So, why not start loving the life you are living, and do that from today itself!
