I need to thank so many wonderful people that I have come across in my freelance writing career and life. Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday, and just the right occasion as well to have the time to relax, sit, be with your family, reflect on the wonderful friends you have and be thankful for everything you experienced and received in the whole year that passed by.

Though it’s a festive occasion in America, Thanksgiving has a universal message for the global citizens. So, no matter where you live, a day to thank is as precious as gold. It’s the day when I too stop and take out time to count my blessings and reflect upon the many reasons for which I have to be grateful.

  1. Adrienne Smith is one of my favorite bloggers. I get inspired by her writings. Harleena Singh, you have done great work by showing them respect. Most bloggers take benefit from others but never show any respect. But you are unique.

    All the best 🙂

    1. Glad you agree Ahsan!

Adrienne is on of my favorite bloggers too. I felt it was necessary and long overdue that I thank all of these wonderful people for all their support and things they share, which mean a lot to us.

      Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

  2. The post of gratitude; always a pleasure to read these posts; not only shows gratitude but also helps networking become so much more easier.

There are some familiar faces I see here; and some that I don’t know. Will definitely check them out. The best thing is that we have some so much wonderful people around that I feel so much blessed. Just yesterday I read a friend’s post where he received some nasty comments on his blog – about the post, his opinions and also targeting comments on the kind of person he is. It stood out like a sore thumb. I was really surprised by that; it was the first time I viewed such negative criticism around! Doesn’t it feel like such a blessing to be surrounded by such wonderful people! 🙂

    1. You are absolutely right there Hajra!

I can never really say it all with words about how grateful I am, to all the wonderful friends I have made and continue to make. And the continuous support, inspiration, and motivation they provide is wonderful indeed.

I had to cut short my list as I didn’t want the post to run too long, or else I would have added many more. It does get tough to choose just a handful from among so many awesome people in the blogosphere.

Sad to hear about the nasty comments left at your friends blog. I too haven’t really come across reading such a comment earlier. Guess he was brave enough to put it up online and reply it too!

Yes indeed, I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and readers who appreciate the blog. Hope I match up and am able to help them by writing posts that give them some value to take back with them.

Thanks for stopping by – always a pleasure to have you over 🙂

    1. Welcome to the blog Radu!

Sorry to have missed out on your reply earlier, and yes indeed, there are a lot of wonderful people to be thankful for. However, my list was endless and I couldn’t really add more people or else the post would have really become too long 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  3. Harleena,

Thank you for mentioning me. The greatest thing that I have picked up from this post is that we have many many things and people to thank for. Nobody should have an excuse to lament the state of our lives. Gratitude is truly an endless list for everyone to choose from. We have been given much in life.

    1. Always welcome Jimmy!

Yes indeed, we do have many things and people we need to thank without waiting for any occasions or the perfect time. I guess to accept and convey the gratitude we feel for others is what matters at the end of the day, and occasions like Thanksgiving are just one of the ways we can go about expressing how we feel.

      Thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  4. Harleena, I think that all these people would like to thank you to!
Thanks for what you are doing..!

    1. Welcome to the blog Mark!

Thanks so much for the kind words and it is the thankfulness that I feel that I simply expressed through the post, and Thanksgiving was the perfect occasion for doing so.

      Thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  5. Leena, aloha. My goodness, I am sorry to be so late to the party. Thank you so much for including me in this beautiful post.

Leena, this Thanksgiving I have people to thank and to include on my list who have never been there before–you are one of them. It was just about a year ago that I ventured forth on twitter and my blog started earlier this year. Since then my life has been enriched by so many incredible people like out mutual friends above.

The generosity of spirit and amazing talent I find everywhere in the online world is a source of unending delight to me.

Wishing you and yours all the best today and every day. Until next time, my friend, aloha. Janet

    1. Aloha Janet!

Always a pleasure to include your wonderful blog to the list, as it sure is a motivational one. I remain ever so grateful to have met you online through Twitter, and I treasure our friendship and connection as well. Yes indeed, the generosity of spirit and amazing talent is surely a source of inspiration to me as well.

Thanks so much for adding more value to the post and for stopping-by. 🙂

  6. Ah Harleena, I’m so very touched and honored. Thank you so much for this beautiful post and for including me among all these wonderful people.

I definitely know what you mean, we all have so much to be thankful for and there are so many amazing bloggers that we are surrounded with daily that help, nurture and inspire us to be the best we can be. I am just so blessed that I was able to meet you as well. I love your home here and what you share with us all.

Thank you again so very much and I do hope you are enjoying this beautiful weekend.

    ~Adrienne

    1. Always a pleasure and so very deserving Adrienne!

You are so right there Adrienne that with so many amazing bloggers on the blogosphere, it sure gets tough to just pick up a selected few to express your thankfulness. But there are always a handful who stand out in your list of favorites and you are one of them for the amazing posts you put, as well are your charismatic personality that comes through your touching comments and helpful nature.

I am grateful as well that we met and are able to connect through our blogs posts. Thanks so much for liking the blog and the kind words. I do appreciate your valuable comments on the posts, and thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  7. What a cool surprise today Harleena! 🙂

    take care…

    1. Most welcome Justin!

I too remain grateful to having met you online and so glad that we connected up so well. The posts on your blog do send out a clear message to inspire and motivate all of us and sure deserved a place in this post, among many others who were in the list, as well as those whom I could not mention here.

      Thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  8. You are absolutely right – even though this is a US holiday, the message should be spread globally. It is so important to give thanks…. even for the littlest of things. We should give thanks all days though.

I hope your thanksgiving went well 🙂

    Gabi

    1. Absolutely true Gabriella!

I don’t think that Thanksgiving being a US holiday is a mater of concern any longer, as it is celebrated globally now, or it should be as it’s a wonderful way to convey your gratitude to the people who mean a lot to you. Yes indeed, giving thanks should always be a on-going affair as we don’t need just a once a year Thanksgiving for such occasions!

      Thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  9. Hello Leena,

This is one example of why I wanted you to be my first guest for #InspireChat–because you are a woman full of grace and kindness, in addition to being talented, wise and having a way with words. In my opinion, talent and wisdom alone are great qualities in themselves, but its the grace and kindness in a person that raises the bar to a brilliant level.

You, Leena, are a beautiful soul and like I have said many times, I am honored to have connected with you.

Thanks so much for your lovely post and for including me with people whom are brilliant! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! Many hugs to you! 🙂

    1. Warm welcome to the blog Joanne- it is indeed wonderful to have you over!

I cannot thank you enough for these kind words, and I remain ever so grateful for having me over for #InspireChat, which was my first ever as well. It was indeed a joyous feeling to be connected with so many people, and all this was because of you!

I feel honored and humbled to be your first guest and it has been a privilege to connect with you as well. I found Thanksgiving the perfect day to express my gratitude for all that you have done for me Joanne, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

Wishing you and your kids and very Happy Thanksgiving as well- lots of hugs to all of you. 🙂

  10. Happy Thanksgiving to you. 🙂

Loving all the positiveness in this post.
I don’t see why Thanksgiving is one day a year to be honest. In South Africa, we don’t celebrate it.
I wish we did – however – Thanksgiving should be every day. Why only be grateful for what we have only once a year? Or am I missing the point cause I’ve never celebrated a Thanksgiving in my life?

    1. Glad you liked the post Rochelle!

I totally agree with you as to why is Thanksgiving only celebrated once a year, in-fact we should be grateful and thankful every single day of our lives- for even the smallest of things people do for us, whether directly or indirectly.

Even though we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving at our end, but I think it is surely a day to be grateful for all the wonderful people we come across in our lives and something we have been doing for a long time now as well.

Thanks for stopping-by and Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. 🙂

  11. Wow. This was just so kind of you to put together, Harleena.

Thank you for kindly featuring me. I’m always smiling so bright when I’m in contact with you – inside and out.

Thank you for being a LIGHT to this world. 🙂

    1. It was long overdue Christian!

I had been wanting to thank so many people for a long time, but just got busy with the updating the blog. And this was the perfect time to convey my gratitude to everyone, which of course includes you as well. Your blog posts always motivate me, as I see the way you undergo so much yet strive to move further ahead- always with a smile, which sure is commendable and appreciable.

Thanks so much for such kind words and for stopping-by. Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂

  12. Hi Harleena,

What a touching tribute! I am honored to be company of such amazing people. Harleena, your warm and generous spirit inspires the bloggers whom you visit.
Thank you, Harleena, for all you do for all of us!

    1. Glad you liked the post Carolyn!

I knew my thank-yous were pending and long overdue, and Thanksgiving was the perfect time for expressing my gratitude to so many wonderful bloggers I have come across, which of course included you as well. I have learnt so much from your blog and love the easy-to-understand language that explains everything, which makes it so simple to understand even the toughest of things!

It sure has been wonderful to connect with you and wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂

  13. Thank YOU for this beautiful list Harleena!
There are one or two I don’t know so I’m going to check them out now! I’m in Canada – so our Thanksgiving holiday is long over – but Happy Holidays to you!

    1. Most welcome Ruth!

I knew I had to thank wonderful writers like yourself, but I thought to keep freelance writers and those connected with writing separate and do that once my writing blog is updated- so your thank-yous are due! But I take this opportunity of Thanksgiving to thank you for sharing such wonderful posts with all of us, and I appreciate the way you relate your kids, family, and so many things to freelance writing- that sure is inspirational.

      Thanks for stopping-by. 🙂

  14. Hi Harleena,

Wow. THANK YOU! This is awesome, I’m stunned. And seeing my name on the same list as so many brilliant people. Thank you so much. You are truly awesome.

I can’t even begin to explain how it feels that people apreciate what I do. Feedback like this is what it makes it all worth doing. Thanks again.

    1. Always a pleasure to connect and thank awesome bloggers Jens!

You may not realize it, but yes, the people visiting your blog- like myself, always do learn a great deal from the wonderful posts Jens. I guess you have the power to connect with people, and the ability to express your feelings through your beautiful comments.

Thanks for stopping-by and wishing you Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂

  15. I’m loving the positive energy in this post, Harleena!

Being thankful always makes both the thanker and the thankee feel warm inside, don’t you think? =) I’m not only thankful that you mentioned me in this post among such amazing individuals, but I’m also thankful that we met because I’ve been learning so much from you! =)

Now to head over and check out some of the people I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet! =) If you’ve recommended them, they’re bound to be inspiring just like you are!

    1. Glad you liked the positive energy in the post Samantha!

Yes indeed, when we thank another person, we mean it from within and similarly, the person being thanked would also be feeling nice that their work is appreciated. I did want to write so much more about the way you write amazingly all about Peru, and the beautiful pictures you post alongside connecting us with nature once again. It is always a pleasure visiting your blog and learning so much about the place, sure makes us feel like visiting it some day!

It would be nice if you do check out all the others listed in the post, though there are still so many left out- wish I could have written a longer post, but I wonder if that would still have covered all of them!

Thanks for stopping-by and wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂

  16. Awww, thanks for the love, Harleena. That was super sweet of you! 🙂 And to be honest with you, it really topped of my already fabulous morning.

I’m honored to be amongst this list of phenomenal individuals. Many of whom I’m familiar with and several that I haven’t had the pleasure just yet. I’ll have to make my rounds and say hello to them all. 🙂

Thank you for the kind words also, my friend. It’s awesome to know that you feel that way, because the feeling is very mutual. You are totally encouraging to me, and I’m always filled with joy when I see a comment, +1, RT, or just a message with you saying, “Hi”; that it took me a couple of months to run across. haha 😉 Nevertheless, yours is a connection that I am grateful daily for making. You have engaged just as much help and support for me, as you’ve said that I have done for you.

I can’t express enough of my sincere gratitude towards you, Harleena. You’re truly a gem. Have a wonderful Holiday!

    1. Most welcome and deserving gratitude, Deeone!

You do remain a constant inspiration and great friend, thus thanking you was foremost on my list, and nothing could be better than Thanksgiving for expressing my gratefulness to you! The feeling is likewise, as its always wonderful to see comments, tweets, or your wonderful shares that encourage me as well. It sure has been wonderful to connect with friends like you and I remain ever so grateful for your friendship, help and continuous support.

Thanks for these kind words and wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂

  17. Wow, you are so kind to each of us. I feel like I’m in the company of giants!

The thanks goes both ways. You write from your heart and it shows. Your comments are always touching. You can tell it is just the way you are.

I hope you have a top notch Thanksgiving, you deserve it.

    Bryce

  19. Hey Harleena really nice article!

Sometimes we forget to take a moment and thank the people that helped us achieve what we have gotten online. I would also like to thank you for the dedication and support you showed our community. I think it’s very important to also say thank you back as I have enjoyed your company and hope we can continue building on our relationship.

    1. Glad you liked the article Brian!

Yes you are so right, we do tend to forget to thank and acknowledge our friends and family, and Thanksgiving seemed the perfect occasion to do so. I needed to thank you especially for the wonderful community you built at Blogengage enabling all of us to share our posts and spread the word around. it is indeed commendable to manage things so efficiently, which is all thanks to your hard work and efforts.

Thanks for stopping-by and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you as well 🙂
