Let me start by wishing ALL of you a very Happy International Women’s Day, which falls on 8th March each year.

Though everyday is a day for women (and men too!), this is a special day to enjoy and celebrate!

One more thing that you can do on this day is to look up to inspiring women. Some women inspire us, don’t they? Would you like to know a few more inspiring women bloggers today?

If you remember, last year I celebrated Women’s Day by honoring the leading ladies on my blog for their contributions and being a part of my blog community.

I’d written a post last year on it titled – 30 Top Women Bloggers of Aha!NOW, where I mentioned that I’d be giving this honor each year to the deserving women bloggers of this blog.

Well, that time of the year is here again – time for celebration and taking pride in being a woman!

“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” ~ Diane Mariechild

This time you’d find a lovely list of inspiring women who have made it to the top 20 Inspiring Women Bloggers of Aha!NOW! You now certainly need to be more deserving to find a place on Aha!NOW!

I’m sure you’d agree that women inspire us in more ways than one, whether they are your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, and even grandmothers! These are the women who make things happen.

How Women Inspire Us

Women today are running countries and corporations. They are running businesses and raising children side by side. I’d written a post on understanding women in today’s world, which I hope you’d like to read.

Even though a woman faces many problems in life, she carries on. It is because she is committed and determined to make things work.

It could be her marriage or her job, or perhaps she wants to make headway in her career or her personal life – she keeps moving!

Let’s celebrate the achievements and evolution of women on this special day because she does inspire and motive you in more ways than one.

You might like to check out these ways to celebrate International Women’s Day – have fun doing so!

However, good doesn’t always happen for women. They are also the ones who go through abusive relationships and domestic violence at the hands of their partners.

“Don’t compromise yourself. You are all you’ve got. There is no yesterday, no tomorrow, it’s all the same day.” ~ Janis Joplin

Did you know that one out of three women is sexually or physically abused by her partner in her lifetime? 50 young women are infected with HIV every hour!

On this International Women’s Day, let’s all stand up for those women and help them to make free decisions about their life, health, and future. Together we can make it happen, isn’t it?

  1. Hi Harleena,

Guess how I found this post? On Bren Lee’s site! She has a link to it in her footer. I was there checking out her site for the first time and wala! Your awesome article was listed.

I know about half the ladies you featured – what a wonderful thing to do each year! I did something similar where I gave awards to different lady bloggers – will have to dust that idea off and continue my previous publication. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

I will definitely be checking out the ladies that I’m not familiar with.

You are one of a kind, Harleena – and I’m so happy that I met you. You’ve enriched my life, and I appreciate you!

    Have a blessed evening.
    – Carol

    1. Hi Carol,

Yes indeed, Bren was kind enough to put it up on her blog, and so were a few others. I’d made this for sharing it on their blogs, just as I’d made in the previous year, when we had started these awards with 30 inspirational women bloggers. However, many of them haven’t carried on blogging, though women on this list are still going strong, except for a few.

Is that so? That’s so wonderful and I think it’s a great way to give back to those who have been with you for a long time. I’ve had similar ones for the men bloggers too. Reminds me that I must put up these somewhere on the blog so that everyone can see them, which I did, but removed as it was getting too crowded.

I’m sure you’d love to connect with the ones you don’t know. Each one is different in her niche, yet wonderful in all that they share.

Thank you for your kind words, Carol – and I feel the same way about you too. Friends are a blessing, aren’t they? Have a nice day too 🙂

  2. Hi Harleena mam,
Thank for this inspiring post mam. Your post will truly inspire women of some under developing countries like India and Pakistan. I think you have forgotten to write your name mam :), you are also a inspiration ideal.

    1. Hi Nitin,

Sorry for the late reply – I guess I missed out on this one 🙂

Yes indeed, I hope it does inspire women to take up blogging as a professional career, especially after seeing such inspiring women bloggers.

Thank you for your kind words of appreciation and for taking the time to stop by here. 🙂

BTW – Do add your Gravatar or profile picture so that we can all see you!

  3. This is very impressive article. All female Bloggers should learn from these. Actually, men were the most dominating power in the past years. Nowadays, in case of blogging women are equal to men. I think your missed one of the most popular female blogger here, “Gina Trapani, owner of LifeHacker”. Her work and her earning is much much impressive.

Anyways, it’s no matter whether you’re man or women, but as a blogger, i will suggest you, convert your skills into cash via blogging and it’s doesn’t matter what type of niche you’re going through…!!! All the best, nice article.

Thanks you so much Harleena for sharing with us 🙂

    Regard
    WAQAS

    1. Welcome to my blog Waqas – good to see you here 🙂

Glad you liked this post, though it’s been a while since I wrote it. Yes indeed, men do dominate but women aren’t far behind and are in-fact doing well in many sectors as compared to men, or at par with them.

I agree that Gina is a wonderful women blogger and her earnings might be great too, but this list is all about the women blogger of Aha!NOW only, not other female bloggers. The women mentioned here have been part of the Aha!NOW blog for a long time and certainly deserve this honor. Yes indeed, the niche doesn’t matter much – anything that relates to your readers, works well.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice weekend 🙂

  4. Thanks for sharing the post mam. I personally follow some of the blogs from your mentioned list, specially I am big fan of Donna Merrill’s blog. I really love the way she write. BTW I’m also a big fan of you Mam 🙂

    1. Welcome to my blog Mohammed!

Nice to know that you are already following more of these inspiring women bloggers, and yes, Donna is a wonderful blogger and dear friend too.

Thanks for stopping by and your kind words of appreciation. 🙂

  5. Hi Harleena!

I remember you from your guest post in Sylviane’s blog just recently. Also, you were mentioned in Sherman Smith’s blog post as one of two people whose blogs he loved visiting because of their engaging content. How could I resist not dropping by your blog? 😀

Your list is excellent. I’ve been a fan of Sylviane and Adrienne for some time now. I’ve looked through your posts and I’m really impressed with the quality of your content. If I had my own list of favorite women bloggers, you’d definitely be in the top 5!

It’s really nice to discover another engaging site like this. You’ll see me more often *thumbs up*

I hope you’ve enjoyed the weekend so far!

    All the best,
    Micah

    1. Welcome to my blog Micah!

Oh yes…I remember replying to your comment there too, and it was indeed kind of Sherman to mention me in his post as well – I guess I need to thank both these dear friends for your visit here 🙂

I agree with you there, those two ladies are wonderful, and so are the others mentioned in this list of inspiring women, once you get to know a little more about them. That’s kind of you, though this is just your first visit and the first comment on my blog. But I’m sure you’d enjoy your stay here and love the post shared on Aha!NOW.

Thanks for stopping by, and yes – hope to see you are around now that we are connected. Have a nice weekend as well 🙂

  6. Harleena, thanks for a job well done. I must say you are exceptional in this regard, dedicating time and space on your blog to write about fellow bloggers and encourage them.

I am lucky to be among the top 30 Men Bloggers of Aha!Now last year. Am still grateful to you for finding me worthy to be on that list. Surprisingly, I hardly know half of the women on this list; your list has opened my eyes to the number of multi-talented women in the blogosphere. I was expecting to see names like Ileana Smith, Susan Velez, Ana Hoffmann, Jane Sheeba, etc on the list. I think the people on the list really deserved to be here, considering the credentials they parade.

Congratulations to Adrienne Smith, Lisa Buben, Sue Neal, Shalu Sharma, and the rest of the women who made the list. They have demonstrated by their extraordinary exploits that they are women of exceptional qualities. Anyone who wishes to be on this list next year must up her blogging, do something of worth or become active member of the Aha!Now community besides ensuring quality content on her blog.

Thanks once again for recognizing excellence. Best of regards.

    1. Hi Joseph,

Glad you liked this list of inspirational women bloggers, and yes, making such a list does take time and effort, but it feels good to see these shining stars now 🙂

Of course you had to be for your valuable contributions made to this blog. Don’t worry if you don’t know some of these amazing women – all you need is a little time to reach out and connect with them, though I know it’s tough to find the right kind of time. Well, this list is ONLY consists of those who are part of this blog, and the names you mentioned, perhaps they’ve yet to visit my blog, or have just come a few times so far, they aren’t the regulars as I’d call it, again because they are busy pro-bloggers who we all respect.

I agree with you there, each of these women bloggers mentioned are worthy of the mention and well deserving to be on this list. Yes indeed, anyone wanting to be on this list, has to be a very active member of this blog community – good things come to those who wait and belong 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and adding more value to the post. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

  7. Great list, Harleena 🙂

I know many of these bloggers, and they definitely deserve to be on this list 😀

There are a few people I don’t know..I would love to visit their blogs and add them to my reading list (I do have the time now…just have to manage it well). But, I think I am investing too much into commenting and too little into general marketing. As much as I love commenting, I do need the other methods, especially if I want to achieve my goals.

    Thanks for sharing!

PS: I have been having problems with your site..not sure if it is on my end (I haven’t had this on any other blogs). I use Chrome..you know sort of like windows , when you try to move things when it’s not responding. Same here..It takes a while for the text to appear in the comment form.

    1. Hi Jeevan,

Glad you liked the list, and I’m sure you know most of these inspiring women, while the rest you’d love to connect with as and when you get time, which I know is a tough thing for most of us to find 🙂

I agree with you completely, but as it’s said – writing is the easier part or 20% of your effort, while promoting takes 80% or most of it, and nothing works better than comments I’d say. Yes, unless we find better ways to do it. Let me know if you find anything better too 😉

Sorry for the problem you are facing, though I’ve heard it from you for the first time even though I use Chrome. But that’s perhaps due to the latest update of Yoast, if you use it. It’s a bug I think, which has to be reported as they mentioned it too. I guess it would be resolved soon.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us 🙂

      1. Well, I have thought of creating a plugin or something (not for general commenting, but keeping track of our replies).

My idea is to track all our comments, that get replies, and pull them up on a single page (it could be on WordPress, or on the account page).

The basic idea is to help with comment notifications…I could also add in an extra feature that allows us to reply the system, instead of visiting the actual page, but I am not sure whether people are willing to do it (it might decrease their traffic numbers).

I do use Yoast…might be that. Thank you for letting me know 🙂

        No problem!

  8. Hi Harleena,

I’m not a women blogger, but I know some women from this list.
I often visit the Carolyn blog, I love her blog because it always provides the latest content about the technology world. I also know Adrienne, Angela and Sylviane. I also frequently visit their blogs 🙂

I wonder, why you do not put yourself in this list, Harleena?
I am sure, you are also a inspiring woman blogger. 🙂

    Regards,
    Nanda

    1. Hi Nanda,

Lol…you don’t have to be a woman blogger to visit this blog at all, it’s just a way to giveback to all those inspirational women who have been a part of the blog 🙂

Oh yes! Carolyn’s blog is always full of goodies and surprises for all of us – wonder how she finds out about all the latest tech stuff. Ah…you already seem to know some of the women from this list, and the others too I’m sure you’d like to connect with.

Thank you for saying that, but how could I add my name myself, though I’m glad a few other bloggers mentioned me in their lists too, so that made my day!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing our views with us. Have a nice day 🙂

  9. Hi Harleena

Wow this is a truly beautiful post. I know many of the women here of course but not all.

Clearly you were not going to put yourself on the list Harleena but you of course should be. You display all the qualities and traits you mentioned. But of course we can only see in others what we ourselves possess.

I have seen the video and shared it before but it always send shivers down my spine.

I also love the Janis Joplin quote. So true.

Thanks for an inspiring post Harleena.

Have an awesome rest of your week.

    Sue

    1. Hi Sue,

      Glad you liked it 🙂

Yes indeed, there are many familiar faces on this list I’m sure, while the others you’d love connecting with as well. Lol…thank you for saying that – you made me reach 7th heaven! But I’ve still a long way to go, though I was happy to be mentioned in a similar list on 2 blogs the same day by different women bloggers, so that cheered me up 🙂

I loved the video the moment I saw it too. Quotes too, you know I can never do without – glad you liked the one by Janis.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Have a nice week ahead as well 🙂

  10. Hi Harleena Mam,

I appreciate your kind words of inspiration and am happy if I have inspired you in some way, Nirmal. You made my day by saying that – something that every blogger loves to hear I should say 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us 🙂

  11. Hello Harleena,

Wow!!! I have been out off my pc for about a week plus now, doing some offline stuffs and i won’t be online for a short while :). But hope i did come in time for my weekly dose 🙂

Now back to the topic… I have visited all of the lady’s blog you mentioned here and i must confess that all their blogs are topnotch and the visit.

Thank you for very much for this lovely list. Do have your self a blissful week over their.

    1. Hi Babanature,

I was just about wondering about your absence dear friend, but now I know that works kept you busy all this while – great going 🙂

Lol…yes your weekly dose indeed! I’m sure you know all of these inspiring women for the friendly person that you are, and yes, their blogs are truly worth the visit.

Thanks for taking out the time to stop by here today, knowing that you are busy. Have a nice week ahead, and don’t over-work! 🙂

  12. Harleena – what a gift! Thank you for including me. There are so many wonderful women bloggers to connect with. I’m looking forward to getting to know each one. And I love all the encouragement in this post!!

You are such an inspiration to me in blogging. I am very grateful for all that I continue to learn from your sharing. Thank you, Harleena.

    Hugs,
    Karen

    1. Hi Karen,

You are most welcome and so very deserving to be a part of this list for the wonderful contributions to the blog 🙂

Yes indeed, each one of these women bloggers is an inspiration in herself and I’m sure you’d enjoy connecting with them, if you don’t know any already.

I appreciate your kind words of appreciation, but I’d say the same for you and the inspirational and uplifting posts you write, Karen. Always motivates me to carry on. I think that’s what makes the blogosphere such a lovely place to be in, as we keep learning so much from each other, isn’t it? 🙂

Thanks for being a part – hugs back to ya 🙂

  13. Harleena,

I tip my hat to honor you… your warm spirit, kind heart, and beautiful soul. I admire the way you contribute and add value to others. 🙂

What a tremendous write up. I look forward to finding about those I have not met yet.

Speaking of domestic violence – many women believe themselves powerless to get out of dangerous situations. They make justifications that, in many cases, lead to their own death. The only way to prevent crime is to remove the opportunity. Women in such situations should take back their power and get the help they need. Their love for life and love for children should be enough to get them beyond their fear.

    Enjoy your week! 🙂
    Bill

    1. Hi Bill,

Aww…thanks so much for saying that – you just made my day a lot brighter dear friend with your warm words 🙂

I’m sure you already know most of these inspiring women bloggers, while the rest you’d love to connect with, as and when you find the time because I know we all lead busy lives.

You are absolutely right, and I strongly feel they are the ones who have to make the first move to really make things happen. Break way from a relationship that doesn’t work and live your life! Take all the help you need, but you need to move and ask people for it, and they’re always ready to help out in most of the cases. I agree with you entirely on this one 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your pearls of wisdom with us. Have a nice week ahead as well 🙂

  14. Hi Harleena,

As I’m hardly doing any blogging at the moment I really don’t feel I deserve to be on this list! A very belated thank you for including me here with these other wonderful ladies.

I know quite a few of the bloggers you’ve mentioned and I’d hate to single out any one or two for special mention, because I’m going to end up feeling I need to talk about lots of them and, much as you love long comments, I think that would be going overboard.

Suffice to say that I’ve been inspired by many other female bloggers, not least your good self, and I’ve particularly valued their openness, honesty, enthusiasm and generosity of spirit in sharing their own experiences on their blogs and connecting in a meaningful way with their readers and helping one another out.

I’m sorry I’m so late to this lovely party, Harleena – this was a great way to celebrate international women’s day and I’m truly honoured that you’ve made me a part of it – thank you 🙂

    1. Hi Sue,

So nice to see you 🙂

Please don’t say that because this list would not be complete without you! I know you aren’t blogging presently, but that’s just lessened a few weeks back. Before that you’ve been here and so regular on all the posts, how can I forget that.

Yes, you must be knowing most of these wonderful ladies, and those you don’t, perhaps as and when you get time, you could reach out and connect with them. I know I shouldn’t say that because you are busy presently, but just in-case.

I think we’eve been so inspired by you too. You’ve shared your experiences and wisdom with us through your thoughtful comments, and inspired so many of us from your writing. You are an inspirational person and I’m so happy that you are a part of my blogging journey as well. Ah… you are never late here and you know that – always welcome 🙂

Thanks for taking out the time to stop by here, and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day as well 🙂

  15. Hi Harleena,

Oh girl! What a timing I would say. Excellent post and to be honest, I know around 8 of them. A whole heartly congrates to all and Happy Women’s Day!

Looking forward to connect with them and thanks for sharing this lovely list dear friend.

    1. Hi Reginald – nice to have you back 🙂

I’m sure you do because we keep visiting each others blogs so often! I hope you reach out and connect with the ones you don’t know from this list – each one is an inspiring woman I’d say.

Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely wishes. Happy weekend 🙂

  16. After reading such a wonderful post on women I am envious of womenfolks more than previous. Not because they have a privilege on this blog to be in the list of inspirign women bloggers but because they way you collect all about them and produced them really shows you are a committed female blogger as I also read about you on another blog on World Women Day 2014.

    1. Welcome to the blog Muba!

Lol…you don’t have to be because even the special men bloggers of Aha!NOW are given this honor on International Men’s Day each year. This post of course is to honor and recognize inspiring women bloggers of this blog. 🙂

Ah…read about me on another blog? Where was that I wonder? You made my day by saying that though.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your views with us 🙂

  17. Great list, and I’m surprised by how many of these folks I actually already know. But there’s a lot of them I haven’t visited in a while so I need to take care of that, as well as see what some of the people who are new to me have to say.

    1. Hi Mitch – good to have you back 🙂

I’m sure you do because of the friendly person that you are, while the others you’d love to reach out and connect with, if time permits because I know we all are forever short of it!

Thanks for taking out the time to stop by here today. Happy weekend 🙂

  18. Congratulations to all the inspiring women bloggers. I can’t wait to check out their blog posts.
Happy International Women’s Day to all. It is a day to celebrate!

    1. Hi Susan – nice to have you back after long 🙂

Thank you for your kind wishes on behalf of all these inspirational women bloggers. I’m sure you’d love to reach out and connect with the ones you don’t know already.

Thanks for stopping by. Yes indeed, time for celebrations! Happy Women’s Day to you as well 🙂

  19. Hi Harleena,

First of all, Happy Women day to you.. You have created a great of blogs managed by women bloggers in this post.. I will surely visit their blog. Frankly speaking, I really don’t know about many of them.. Thanks for creating such a nice list.

    1. Hi Himanshu,

Thank you so much for your kind wishes. Yes indeed, all these women bloggers have awesome blogs and have been a part of Aha!NOW for quite sometimes now, that being the reason they are mentioned in this list. That’s absolutely alright – anytime is a good time to reach out and connect with other bloggers, isn’t it? Hope you enjoy visiting their blogs as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing yours views with us 🙂

  20. Thank you, Harleena for this beautiful post! I’m so happy to be able to meet the women bloggers who inspire you. I know Jodi Aman and she has been such a supporter of my blog. Her blog is so positive and inspiring and helps me think about things happening in my life in a different way. Happy Women’s Day to you! I will now read through the comments…

    1. Hi Lisa,

You are most welcome, and I’m glad you know Jodi from this list – she is a wonderful person indeed. I’m sure you’d love to connect with the others – each one is an inspiration in herself 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day as well 🙂

  21. Harleena,

I am so deeply touched that you have included me on this list. I know more than half of these woman and am excited to get to know the rest.

I must say that the video you have put in there brought tears to my eyes, so much so, I had to watch it twice. And you know what happened? I got an AHA moment.

As a gal over 50, I am inundated with messages from the media that stick in my subconscious that I need to look younger. Rationally, I do a lot of self talk and get those negative messages out of my head. But this really got to me. Now I really know where those messages come from! I thank you so much for putting that healing video in this post.

Yes, I am a survivor of emotional and physical abuse from my ex husband. But that was a milestone in my life that turned me from victim to victor.

Going through all that “stuff”in my life, made me want to grab someone’s hand that has gone through it and say “Hey, I’m here for you. I know your pain. Let me help you to be a free woman and learn how to love yourself.”

That is my deepest Why I started blogging. It has been about 4 years now, and I am filled with joy meeting YOU, and so many other women that are go givers to the blogging community,

    Again, Thank you so much,

    Blessings to you,

    -Donna

    1. Hi Donna,

This list would never be complete without you! Yes, you already know most of these inspiring women and the others I’m sure you’d love to reach out and connect with 🙂

Awesome! Such moments are rare when your heart’s touched and you get the AHA moment – it’s happened to me too, though rarely. I’m so glad you liked it. I thought it was very different and inspiring. Ah…you are already so young, Donna! Don’t worry about what people say because there’s no end to their talks and we can’t really please them all – I think I’d go mad even if I tried! It’s like they say, you are as young as you feel – so it’s all in the heart and what you feel there that matters.

I know you’ve gone through such a lot, which is the reason you inspire me so much because not everyone can overcome their past and turn victorious. You are the perfect person people can share their pain and sorrow with if need be, and I am so glad you are blogging and we came to meet each other. However, it somehow feels we’ve always known each other for years, doesn’t it? Perhaps our group of friends in the Blogosphere is such, which makes it all the more interesting.

Thank you for being a part of my journey. Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  22. Harleena,

I’m honored to be considered an inspired blogger. It’s an honor to be a part of such wonderful company.

I started blogging in 2008 and have grown as a blogger and content writer. I’ve learned WordPress (continue to learn), made mistakes and redefined my niche several times. I recently experienced several Aha moments.

The joy I receive from writing is when clients and readers tell me how I’ve helped them. This is my goal: to help, add value and be of service for the greater good.

Everyone keep up the great work! I leave you with the words that Garrison Keillor spoke to me in 2009 in Mesa, AZ as I assisted him at this book signing and discussion event, “You have stories to tell and people want to read them.”

    1. Hi Amandah,

You are most welcome and so very deserving for all your contributions and support 🙂

I can well understand how things get but that’s what makes the journey worthwhile, isn’t it? We are new to things but we keep learning and get better each passing day. I feel happy when I compare my older posts to the new ones and the relationships I’ve built with fellow bloggers along the way. All of this takes time and effort, but it’s worth it, isn’t it?

Absolutely! That’s what makes my day too when I know my posts have helped people or touched their lives in some way. I think that should be goal of every blogger, besides making money! Those are great words indeed – thanks for sharing them with us 🙂

Thanks for being a part of the blog – I appreciate you, and wish you a very Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  23. Hi Harleena,

Thanks you so much for mentioning me in your post. It’s a privilege to be part of your community. I am truly blessed to know you.

You have encouraged and supported me a lot on my blogging journey. And for that I’m grateful.

Blogging has changed my life. As you know, when I first started I had no idea what I was doing. There were many time I wanted to quit. But I didn’t. Mostly because each time that thought came to me, someone left a comment telling me how much my blog inspires them. That was the reason why I started blogging in the first place.

Thanks for all the other women bloggers you mentioned. We’re all on a journey to help others improve their quality of lives, one way or the other.

Your post has really touched me Harleena. It means more to me than you can imagine. 🙂 God bless you.

I would like to end by saying congratulations to women worldwide. I celebrate each and every one of them.

Thanks again Harleen for this inspiring and motivating post.

    Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

    1. Hi June,

You are most welcome, and SO deserving to be here for all your support and contribution to the blog – it’s a pleasure indeed 🙂

I think most of us sail in the same boat as it was the same case with me when I started blogging too, or perhaps being writers, we are from a different world and then to enter into the blogging one, it does take time, isn’t it? I know those ‘quitting’ moments come and go with all of us yet we carry on because we are inspired by the lives of others or because of the kind words people mention about us or our blogs, which keeps us going.

I’m so glad to hear that my posts touch you in some way, which means perhaps I’m going on the right path. So, that’s my piece of inspiration to keep me going too!

Thanks for stopping by and being a part of my journey – I appreciate you too. Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  24. Hi Harleena,

This is my first comment in a blog since this past Monday and I wanted to say thank you for this wonderful post and this beautiful video that I so needed to watch and hear today.

Also, thank you so much for including me in your list of wonderful women, such an honor.

Have a wonderful and blessed week end, Harleena.

    1. Hi Sylviane,

I know all that you are going through and my prayers and good wishes are with you dear friend.

Glad you liked the inspirational video, which I hope made you feel a little better. You are most welcome and so very deserving to be on this list of inspirational women. You certainly manage a great deal single handed, which is commendable – keep going!

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend as well 🙂

  25. Hi, Harleena Mam,
Happy International Women’s Day to you as well as all women community. 🙂
Women are special creation of God. The universe is never complete with you all.

I feel women are always inspiring in many way. Sometimes, When I find myself in low My Mom, use to stand with me. She inspires me to evolve and grow.

Well said this day is a special day to celebrate otherwise all the day for women. 🙂
Thank You very much for putting such a good light on wonderful lady bloggers. 🙂
    Have a great weekend. 🙂

    1. Hi Kumar,

Thank you so much for your kind wishes 🙂

Yes indeed, so are men, but let me side a little with women today and say yes, they are special creation of God and no one is complete without them too, just as you mentioned.

That’s so sweet of you to say that and I hope you let your Mom know that today – you’d surely make her day with your warm words.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us 🙂

  26. Aww Harleena!

What a lovely thing to do. You are such an inspiration yourself and deserve all the praise you give to these 20 inspiring women bloggers.

Some of them I don’t know, but I will definitely check out their websites.

As a woman blogger I have to say that I received lots of support from women as well as men. I love socializing with all of them. When it comes to family and marriage topics I can surly feel a strong bond between women and have learnt a lot from other women bloggers.

Sometimes a post just shouts in the middle of your situation and helps you a way it might not on another day. For example ‘How To Blog In The Midst Of Havoc?’ by Sylviane Nuccio did this when I was totally stressed out and down.

Back to you Harleena! I actually always feel inspired and understood by your posts. Thank you for that and Happy Inernational women’s day to you 🙂

    Enjoy your day, Ilka

    1. Hi Ilka,

Thank you so much for saying that – you made my day dear friend 🙂

I started this yearly post last year to honor the special women bloggers of this blog, and it’s good you know some of them, while the others I’m sure you’d love to reach out and connect with.

I agree with you there, and I think that’s what makes the blogosphere such a lovely place to be in because we all are there for each other, isn’t it? I think women rock – proud to be one! I agree with you there – sometimes you are motivated by each others posts, and that helps in our down times, as it pulls us right through.

It’s so nice to hear that and I just hope I keep writing more of such posts in the near future and help all of you in some ways.

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day as well 🙂

  27. Hi Harleena

Happy International Women’s Day to you too. I am honoured to be on this list. In fact, when I read the title I wondered if I was on the list or not and glad I am have made it to the prestigious list of 20 women bloggers. I was reading the criterias listed out by you and they are quite stringent so happy to have ticked all of them and got in the list.

I do know many of the listed bloggers but not all and hope to get to know many of them.

    Thank you once again.

    1. Hi Shalu,

Of course you had to be on this list for all your contributions to the blog and for being a part 🙂

Yes indeed, the criteria are a little stringent, but that’s because only special women can make it, not everyone. I think you need to make certain criteria that can help you choose the best ones, isn’t it? And I’m glad you are one of those nuggets. I’m sure you’d love reaching out and connecting with the ones you don’t know from this list.

Thanks for stopping by, and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day as well 🙂

  28. Hi Harleena

I read the articles written by you and this one is yet another great article that spread the awareness on female being an integral part of blogging world. I salute all these women and wish them to keep up the spirit.

Wish you all a very Happy International Women’s day
    Sam

    1. Welcome to the blog Sam!

Well, thank you for your kind words of appreciation, and I’m glad you read the other articles beside this. I think women bloggers are coming up in a great way, and this list just goes on to prove that, isn’t it? Each one is an inspiration in herself.

Thank you for stopping by and for your kind wishes – keep coming! 🙂

  29. Hello Harleena Singh,

At first best wishes to all Women on this International Women’s Day. I am glad to know 20 inspiring Women bloggers. I know only three of them. Now its time to know others too. I think if another women blogger will do this list, you must be included in top inspiring Women bloggers list. You are certainly a true leader of all women bloggers.

Here is my wish on this special occasion:

You can do almost anything you put your mind to,
You can swim the deepest ocean and climb the highest peak,
Be a doctor or fly a plane,
You can face adversity and still walk tall.
You are strong, beautiful, compassionate and much more than words could ever say!
Today is yours, and so is ever other day…
    Happy Women’s Day 🙂

    1. Hi Ahsan,

Thank you for your kind wishes 🙂

I’m sure you’d like to reach out and connect with the other inspiring women bloggers mentioned on this list as well. Oh yes…it was a pleasant surprise this morning to be mentioned in a list by 2 women bloggers too. I think that’s what makes the blogosphere such a lovely place to be in where we can all reach out and connect with each other, which helps build relationships with one another, isn’t it?

That’s such a lovely poem – thanks so much for sharing it with us. Have a nice weekend, and thanks for your kind wishes as well 🙂

  30. Hi Harleena,
I am here again to check few of the amazing personalities i never visited, I have a small suggestion here: Hey, why don’t you post
their pics too along with the brief intro. I think that will surely give an impact to the post and also to get a bit more info. about the
    person. 🙂
May you and your team have a wonderful and happy weekend 🙂 🙂 🙂
And ha of course Here comes my wishes for the DAY. Happy and blessed Women’s Day.

    1. Hi Philip,

Always good to have you back 🙂

That’s surely a good idea though it would increase my workload to capture them all in one size! But I think that even without the pictures people would be more curious to find out who these inspiring women bloggers are and would surely visit their blogs, isn’t it? Nevertheless, I’d keep your point in mind for the next such post 🙂

Hey! There is no team with me, though I wish there were – it’s only me single-handed this end 😉

Thanks once again for stopping by with your wonderful suggestion dear friend, and for your kind wishes 🙂

  31. According to me Harleena Singh is No.1 Blogger not only in India but also in entire Blogosphere. She is doing tremendous work. This post is a best example of that. She always honor other bloggers. I am always proud of her to be my best friend and well-wisher. There are few names missed out in the above list. But she already said that clearly readers of this blog only taken into account. So there is no question of adding too many to this list. Really awesome post. Keep your good work harleena. Have a Great Weekend.

    1. Hi Kumar – nice to have you back 🙂

Aww…that’s so kind of you but I always call myself a learner, though yes, hard work I put in a lot because there is no substitute for that, isn’t it? 🙂

I started these yearly posts to honor the men and women bloggers of Aha!NOW as a way to giveback for all their contributions to the blog, just my way of expressing gratitude towards them. Oh yes…this isn’t the kind of list we would find everywhere as it’s only about those who are part of this blog, so these gems are special, just like the special men on the Men Bloggers list.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words of appreciation. Have a nice weekend as well 🙂

  32. I think YOU are an amazing woman, Harleena. I don’t know where or how you find the time to do all that you do. You inspire so many people and you lift so any people up. You’re everywhere with your smiling face. I love that you’ve done this post. You certainly did your research. This is awesome and on behalf of women everywhere, thank you. Peace.

    1. Hi Jeanne,

Ah…thank you for saying that – you certainly made my day a lot brighter! Don’t ask about the time because I am always short of it too, though I wonder how you manage with the posts you also put up, nearly every day. You inspire me too dear friend 🙂

Yes indeed, creating such posts takes a lot of time because you don’t want to miss out the ones who deserve the limelight so have to be very careful and choose the ones based on the criteria set earlier.

Thank you for stopping by, and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day as well 🙂

  33. This is a wonderful surprise Harleena. I love your blog and am honoured to be included with these fabulous women. 🙂 Many of them I do know, but will certainly check out the others as well. Great video too! Thank you so much for the mention and apologies that I haven’t been online as much lately. It’s busy season for the real Doglady’s Den (the one offline), so I have my hands full. Please send me the code for the badge, so I may display it on my blog with pride. Thanks and have a good weekend.

    1. Hi Debbie,

I love surprises too, though you surely had to be on this list as well for your lovely contributions to this blog 🙂

Yes indeed, I’m sure you know most of these inspiring women, while the rest you’d love to meet once you visit their blogs. Don’t worry about your visit, I know sometime we get tied up with things and you are certainly doing something wonderful for the Den. I’d surely send you the code so that you can put it up.

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend 🙂

  34. I am humbled to make your top twenty list. I want to thank you for including me in your list of inspiring women. I love contributing to your site and adding to the conversation. 🙂

    1. Hi Christy,

You are one of the many new ones to stand out from the rest for being a part of this blog, and it’s a pleasure to add your name to the list certainly. Yes indeed, I love the way you manage things so well at your home front and your blog too – commendable indeed – keep going!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for being a part of my journey. Happy weekend 🙂

  35. Hi Harleena,

What a wonderful post!! 😀 Thank you for mentioning my name. I am so honored and speechless when I saw my name in your blog. You have made my day!! I am very touched by your *words*. <3

We, women, should stick together. There are more women abused than men. And it's sad to see that there are 50 young women infected with HIV every hour. This is not good. Young women needs to be smart and be confident with who they are. They don't have to be in a "relationship" in order to be worthy.

And for those women who are abused, my mother is one (btw), I protest that women should be protected from their abusive husband or partner. Say *NO* to abusive partners. ONE STRIKE AND HE IS OUT!!!

I *love* the video. What a wonderful message. <3

Thank you so much for all of these wonderful words you have said about us, about me, I am indebted to you my friend. You are my friend forever. Have a wonderful & blessed weekend.

    xoxo
    Angela

    1. Hi Angela,

You are most welcome, and SO deserving to be on this list of inspiring women bloggers, because you certainly inspire many of us 🙂

Absolutely! We have each other and should be happy for that, isn’t it? I think each moment we are present right here and living our lives is a time to be grateful because there are so many who are going through such a great deal as compared. I was amazed at those stats too regarding women, but that’s just how it goes. Yes indeed, if things don’t work for them, it’s much better to give it a try but then move out without regrets.

I didn’t know about your mother, and you are right – such abusive partners are not worth living with and need to be left the moment you feel it’s not worth it or it’s gone overboard. Glad you liked the video – I thought it would inspire one and all, and those words are ALL true dear friend 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and adding more value to the post. Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  36. Hello Harleena.

What a wonderful way to end the day then seeing your name on a list like this!

Thank you so much for including me with the rest of these ladies. I’m honored to be included! Many of these ladies and you as well I look up to so I couldn’t be more thrilled!

There are many I know on this list and some I have yet to meet but I’ll be sure to connect with them soon. :).

Thank you so much for mentioning me! Have a wonderful weekend dear!

    1. Hi Corina,

Glad you liked it dear friend, and there was just no question for not adding yours to this list 🙂

Yes, you do know most of these as we keep visiting each others blogs, while the rest I’m sure you’d love to connect with, as you are such a friendly and inspiring women yourself with ALL that you manage to do.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an enjoyable weekend as well. Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  37. Harleena, i didn’t realize it was International Womens Day and caught this post in the Triberr stream. I am so honored to be included in your list of 20. I know many of these amazing women and a few I don’t know but will have to check out.
You are surely an inspiration to all of us Harleena with your multi faceted blog and in-depth posts on various topics. Not only that but you are everywhere on the social networks and you are frequently the first to comment on many blogs out there. Truly amazing to me!

    1. Hi Lisa,

I can well understand that because of the busy lives we all lead. But just as last year, I’ve it marked on my calender when I must honor the deserving women of this blog 🙂

You are most welcome and are certainly an important part of Aha!NOW. I hope you connect with the others you don’t know, though I feel those would only be a handful. Ah…thank you for saying that and brightening my day! I wonder how long I can manage and do it all. Makes me think at times if it’s really all worth it, but then I give myself another push and carry on, just as life is.

Thanks for stopping by, and wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  38. I saw this on Facebook and quickly clicked on the link only for Facebook to label our great Aha-now as spam.

Aha-now is now having enemies but that I know won’t deter you from the great work you’re doing.

Now back to the post, this is really a nice piece with the world’s best female bloggers being talked about here.

Madam Nuccio shaped the way I comment whiles the likes of Madam Lisa and Madam Sue continued motivating me with their great and lovely comments on my blog.

Same can be said of Madam Adriene, Madam Mary and Madam Angela.

    1. Hi Emmanuel – good to have you back 🙂

Ah…I guess Aha!NOW has enemies indeed! I wonder why people do what they do, and what pleasure they get out of doing that! My profile is safe and I can update my status and share etc., but if someone just marks your blog as spam for no apparent reason, you can do nothing about it other than unspam it and carry on! Yes, all this doesn’t deter me indeed.

Glad you liked the post and it’s good you already know some of these inspiring women, and if you have time, do check out the others too.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us 🙂

  39. Hi Harleena…I am fairly new to your blog so this is the first list of women bloggers I seen here on your site. They sound interesting and very worthy for being noted. I look forward to going through and checking each one of them out. Thank you! ~Kathy

    1. Hi Kathy,

Yes indeed, you are new and I’m glad you did! I also just started such a list only last year to honor the women bloggers who inspire all of us – a way to give back to them for their contribution for being a part of the blog 🙂

Oh yes…each one of them is an inspiration in herself and it would be great if you could reach out and connect with them – more the merrier, isn’t it?

Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you a very Happy Women’s Day 🙂

  40. Hi Harleena

Oh my goodness….thank you for putting me on your list! I am honored. I like joining in your conversations when the subject is up my alley. Always appreciate your support on my blog. The feedback makes it worthwhile to continue blogging.

We learn so much from others and many inspire us to keep writing and sharing. It is all just words unless we get to know the vulnerable side of others and this shows through on the people I know on your list. I don’t know all of them so I shall have to check them out.

Thank you for the mention, very much appreciated.

    Mary

    1. Hi Mary,

You had to be on this list – there was no question to make one without you for your lovely contributions to the blog 🙂

I think that’s what makes the blogosphere such a lovely place to be in, isn’t it? We keep visiting each others blogs and that is kind of a meeting place for us, and chit-chatting like we would have talked offline otherwise, through our comments. I agree with you – there’s such a lot to learn from each other, no matter what the blog is about.

Thank you for being a part, and I’m sure you’d love reaching out and connecting with the ones you don’t know from this list. Have a nice weekend 🙂

  41. OMG!!!
    Hi Harleena,
Yet another wonderful list of personalities!!
Indeed they are amazing group of people in their respective fields.
I am very much aware about few of them and yet to know few others.

    Phil

    1. Hi Philip,

Absolutely! All of them are shining stars, aren’t they? 🙂

I’m sure you’d be knowing most on this list, while the others are wonderful women to reach out and connect with, as and when you find the time. Thanks so much for your warm wishes. Have a nice weekend as well 🙂

      1. Hi Harleena, Thank you again for you note here, yes they are indeed amazing people like you and i visited few of them today, surely i want to check out all at a later stage. Thanks again for dropping at my page and for the encouraging comment. Hey, i forgot to tell you: that I posted a note about this unique post in my page with all due credit: 🙂 🙂 🙂

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend
        Phil

        1. That is wonderful Philip – you surely are quick 🙂

You are most welcome, and I shall soon check it out – thanks for letting me know.

          Happy weekend as well 🙂

    1. Hi Jennifer,

You’re a deserving candidate for this list! Though you’re new to this blog family, but you’ve become an integral part and a valuable member, who always has something to add value to the posts. And not the least, you’re more valuable because you come from South America, and I love reading about that part of the world! 🙂

You have always amazed me with your writings and how you can touch everyone with your words. You do make the world a better place and it comes across with the way you write, respond and listen to others.
    And of course your wisdom.

The video is great and yes I shall check out everyone of these bloggers, because coming from you, they have to be special. (I did not say that because I am on the list)I say that because you are an honest, caring and loving inspiration that we can all trust.

I would also be honored to put the code on my blog, it would be wonderful if you would email it to me.

Thank you again and thanks Harleena for making me feel like I count and am making a difference.
Hugs to you and you are a very special lady.
    Debbie

p.s. I have to say when it comes to the ladies and writing about parents and happiness I do see how very special they are when it comes to balancing their lives while wearing so many different hats day in and day out.

    1. Hi Debbie,

Without you, this list is incomplete – I really appreciate your wisdom that you shower in your comments. They hold in them so much of value, and are really very helpful. You’re one of those who doesn’t hesitate to take a stand for something you believe in, and you make things seems so clear and easy with your simplified principles.

Thank you for your kinds words, and words are all that I have. Of course, there’s always a strong feeling behind my words, because what I write, I write with all my heart. I love engaging and interacting with everybody, and especially listen to your wisdom, which is greater than mine. 🙂

Yes, I too liked the video that would make any woman feel awesome. And yes, these all ladies are special, and you can make that out from their comments on this blog, and I’m sure you’d find it worthy to visit them.

Thanks for asking for the code, Debbie, and I’m sure you’ve got it by now as I mailed it to you.

Ladies are so special and you’re right, they’ve to wear so many different hats everyday, more than any gentleman. No wonder why they’re oppressed in certain parts of the part, because they’re so special and have so much of power within them, that they can rule the world! 🙂

    1. Hi Jodi,

You’re a giver, healer, and a great contributor; how could you not be in this list. Your comments may be short but whatever you state is succinct and full of wisdom.

I’m fortunate to have you as a part of my blog community, and our association would sure be long lasting. I’m sure you’d love visiting the other great ladies mentioned in the list and get to know them better.

  46. Hey Harleena,

It’s been a year already? I can’t believe it’s been that long but I guess it sure has been.

I’m so very touched that I made the list again this year and I’ll have to thank my Mom for giving me a first name that starts with an A. LOL!!! But seriously Harleena, I’m truly honored to be on this list and thank you so much for including me. I will tell you though, I’m not a network marketer. I abandoned that around April of 2012 so I won’t be pursuing that any longer. Just for future reference.

You have a wonderful list of some amazing women and I can see why they made the list for most inspiring. I’m thrilled and honored to know a good bit of them but I have to say you’re also at the top of my list Harleena.

Thank you for all you do for the blogging community and all the lessons you continue to teach us about everything. You are truly an inspiring lady and I’m so honored to know you.

Once again, I so appreciate being on your list and thank you again for mentioning this amazing group of awesome ladies.

    ~Adrienne

    1. Hi Adrienne,

It’s so good to see you so early on my post today! I feel so bad that I’m not able to reply to your comments on most of the posts, as I just can’t take out the time to reply to them all – I’m not like you and we all just marvel at how you manage it all at such speed! 🙂

Yup, it’s been a year, and last year too you were at the top of my list! In fact, you’re always at the top of all my lists. Lol. Time flies, and in this rocket age, it’s got boosters that make it fly fast. 🙂

I need to give one award to your Mom too! And, I’m sorry for my mistake to incorrectly mention you as a network marketer. Probably, I didn’t refresh and renew my old information snippet that I created a few years back. However, we all know you more as an engagement superstar! 🙂

I’m really glad and lucky to have such a majestic group of women on my blog, including yourself. I’d just be happy with you all rather than at the top as it’s too cold there! Lol.

Ah.. I don’t teach lessons but share my thoughts and the important life lessons that we all learn together. I love this blogging community and the loyal audience that listens to what I say and then showers their views, opinions, and wisdom by opening their hearts and minds.

Thank you for your kinds words, but you’re my inspiration, Adrienne, and you know that. I may not have learned so many things hadn’t I met you. You really deserve to be at the top of the list. 🙂

Thanks for visiting and for sharing your lovely thoughts and kind words. I appreciate them with all my heart. Do have a great weekend! 🙂

    1. Hi Temilola,

Hey, what a way to honor women.. happy Independence day! 🙂 Women having their own day is like them having independence, right? It’s true in a way that women are more independent now than ever before. But doesn’t a woman’s day sound better? 🙂

I agree, it’s a wonderful list and it was really tough to make it. It’s good you know many of them, and you can always check out the ones you don’t know much about.

Women have come of age and are going to rule the blogosphere, but don’t worry, then I’ll have a man’s day too here at Aha!NOW. 🙂

Seriously, I really appreciate your thoughts and thank you for your visit. You too celebrate this woman’s day in your family! Do have a great weekend! 🙂

  48. Hi Harleena! Wow! What a fabulous group of amazing women! I’m so thankful and humbled to be amongst them. I know quite a few of them but there are a few I don’t, so I’ll definitely be checking out their sites as well.

Quite a few of those women above, including yourself, have been a great inspiration to me, as well as a great support system. I again, am truly humbled to be mentioned and extremely grateful.

You truly rock Harleena and next time, add your own name to the list. 🙂

    1. Hi Bren,

Yup, and you too are an amazing woman, so you had to be in this list. 🙂 Many of these fabulous ladies also featured in the previous list, so you know them, however, there are new additions in the Aha!NOW family, as it keeps growing. 🙂

Thanks for your kind words and I’m glad I was of help to you in anyway. I’m also lucky to be in contact with all these ladies and you, and we all are there to support each other, isn’t it?

Ah.. I know you love me, so I don’t care if my name is there or not. 😉 Thanks so much for visiting and sharing your beautiful thoughts, I really appreciate them. Do have a lovely weekend ahead! 🙂

  49. Hello Maam,
You shared a list of such reputed women bloggers. I keep reading their blogs to understand the art of professional writing.Currently, I am a regular reader of just 3-4 of them but now I want to read the blogs of rest of the bloggers you shared. The more we read the more flexibility we will gain while writing. Thanks again maam.

    1. Hi Nikhil,

These are all very good and helpful bloggers. I’m sure you’ll learn a lot by visiting their blogs. It’s good that you know some of them and wish to know the rest too.

You’re absolutely right, the more you read, the more you learn, and better you write. 🙂

Thanks for visiting and do have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

  50. Hi Harleena,

This is such a unique way of appreciation…I absolutely love you for including my name in the list! Also, I am so happy that my name happens to be by the letter ‘B’…alphabetical list is so logical!!!

This post reveals a lot of your own qualities, Harleena! I have come across many bloggers but you are one of those benevolent leaders who attract like magnet, apparently because of your efforts to go a step further in welcoming, in giving time to all who try to connect with you. The spontaneity that flows through your articles and comments is very inspiring! I must confess that I learn each time I visit your blog.

It is through your blog that I met our Queen mentor, Adrienne and her name is rightly so at the top, though by coincidence!! Her newsletters are so warmly written…I wonder how she manages to write them twice a week! I have met Jodi…love her smile which is so charming and captivating, not to mention her informative posts! I also like the intuition filled posts of Angela, she seems to go much beyond just the sixth sense! I have always enjoyed her posts. Carolyn is really a WONDER woman, some of her posts just go above my head!!!

I am so elated at the list provided by you…will try to connect with all of them. I wish all these wonderful bloggers Happy Women’s Day and ladies, lets work more to bring equal opportunities to all those women who feel deprived of their rights, we can do it in our own ways!

Thank you Harleena for the honor! Have a nice weekend.

    1. Hi Balroop,

You had to be here! You’re a new addition to this lovely blog community, but you’ve made your mark and I love your involvement and contribution. I remember you’re one of the few bloggers who selflessly ventured to help people on the SYPS post on relationship problems.

Ah.. you should thank your parents for that! They probably knew that you’re going to be featured in such lists and you better get the best exposure. 🙂

This post is all about you and all the other lovely inspiring women bloggers – I stand at the bottom, and I’m nothing without you all. Thanks so much for your kind words about me, and I’m glad you think in such a way about me. Life is all about giving, loving, sharing, and caring, isn’t it? So, why shy away from these activities. And, I love blogging just for the reason that I get to do all this here. It makes me happy to know that you love your visit to Aha!NOW. 🙂

There’s no doubt -Adrienne is the Queen, and I too have learnt a lot from her. I’m glad you too had the chance to connect to her, through Aha!NOW. She’s always on the top of the list everywhere! 🙂 You won’t believe how fast a writer is Adrienne. Once I guest posted at her blog, and before I could reply to one comment, she had finished three of them. lol.

I’m also lucky to have the company of Jodi, Angela, Carolyn, and so many other wonderful and inspiring women. They shower their love and wisdom through their comments and posts.

You should try to visit all of the amazing women in this list if possible; each one is a gem. 🙂 A Happy Woman’s Day to you too, and yes, you’re right that we need to make our best efforts to make all the women in the world to be happy and safe.

Thank you for visiting and sharing your so lovely and wonderful thoughts and views. May God bless you and have a great weekend! 🙂
